From the Head of School

Dear Goshen families,

This weekend I attended Fugett Middle's School production of Once Upon a Mattress. My daughter was so excited to watch her friends on stage! Looking around at the packed house, I was reminded of how important it was for performers to know they have friends and loved ones supporting them in their young careers!

In one month, we will host our annual Friends Day Celebration (11 a.m. in the Grange on May 7 for Owls, Bears, and Bumblebees; May 8 for Froggies, Ladybugs, and Butterflies). The celebration is a combination of our spring concert plus an opportunity for friends and families to visit our campus and classrooms.

You'll get more details in the coming weeks from your teachers, but in the meantime, please mark your calendars for these very special days. Your Goshen friends will be so excited to know they have guests in the audience that day!

Have a wonderful week!

In friendship,
Goshen Parent Community

Save the date for Thursday, May 3, for our final Service Project gathering in the Grange! Our special guest, PA State Representative Carolyn Comitta, will be visiting Goshen Friends to thank our students, faculty, and families for their generosity and hard work to help our community this school year. Our service project will support Home of the Sparrow, which partners with single women, mothers, and their children facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures. We also hope to have a representative from the organization join us. Stay tuned for more details!

This spring we are looking forward to completing a few projects around campus, including pavement repairs, siding repairs, mulching, sealcoating, and installing a concrete pad for dumpsters. We are reaching out to the GFS community to tap into your personal and professional skills and contacts to help us get these projects done! If you have any recommendations or can offer your support with these projects, please feel free to reach out to our business manager, Bob Sager, at
