Today one of our parents visited the Bears classroom to talk about the Lunar New Year and the new Year of the Pig! A Goshen alumna (and older sibling) joined her to tell us about how the different animals gained their place on the lunar calendar. We also learned about Korean culture and how Korea celebrates the new year and got to enjoy a snack of tteok, a delicious sweet sticky rice! Check out more photos on our

Message from the Head of School
Dear Goshen families,
The sun is shining and the snow is melting. That can only mean one thing: mud! It's a good idea to send in an extra pair of boots with your little ones for the playground this week!
We are looking forward to the Valentine's Dance this Friday, February 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It's lots of fun for all ages!
Just a quick reminder that school is closed Friday, February 15, and Monday, February 18.

The GPC Valentine's Day Dance is this
Friday, February 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. We are still accepting RSVPs. Please send in the
completed form
with your child in an envelope marked "Valentine Dance." For those who are unsure if they can attend, please note that you can pay at the door Friday night. We are looking forward to a fun night for all.
For anyone who volunteered to purchase items for the Dance, if they are paper products or tablecloths, please drop off at the office by this Thursday.
The next GPC meeting is this Friday, February 8,
at 9 a.m. in the Grange. If you need child care, please email Extended Care by Wednesday morning. We will be getting ready for the dance and discussing the upcoming book fair.

Save the date for our annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair! The Book Fair will be held March 28 - through April 7 at the Exton Barnes & Noble. Online orders using a special code will also be accepted during this time. The Book Fair Community Night - featuring teacher readings, an in-store scavenger hunt, and a special GFS frappucino - will be held March 28 from 6 - 8 p.m.
The SNAP Pizza Restaurant Night will also be held on
March 28, from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more info!
