The Goshen Weekly, January 14, 2019

Earlier this  morning, Tr. Chris led the whole school in Meeting for Worship, where the theme was "quiet." We talked about times when we need to be quiet and ways we can settle in to be quiet. Tr. Chris read the book "Quiet" by Tomie DePaola, and then we sat in silence for 5 minutes. Afterward, students shared one word that came to mind. Responses included snow (a popular word today), swinging, playing, happiness, ice cream, sledding, mommy, daddy, and scorpions! Thank you, Tr. Chris, for leading our group in this special shared time.

Dear Goshen families,

I hope you were able to get out and enjoy our first snow of 2019. As a reminder, please click here for our inclement weather policy - and cross your fingers that snow continues to fall only on the weekends!

Although it is officially a day off from school, I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, January 21, for our Morning of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will gather in the Grange from 10 a.m. to noon to sort donations for Safe Harbor of Chester County. Children will also decorate cards for Safe Harbor residents to help brighten their spirits during these cold winter days. Snacks will be provided. Older children, grandparents, and all are invited! RSVP by January 17 by filling out and sending in the form at
