Message from the Head of School
Dear Goshen families,
The faculty and staff here at Goshen Friends School are a lucky bunch. We have the greatest students and the greatest parents! Last week, we all received a gift bag filled with healthy and delicious goodies, compliments of the Goshen Parent Community. It was a welcome treat on an otherwise busy day! From all of us to you, thank you!
Just a quick reminder to all returning families that the Enrollment Reply forms distributed during parent-teacher conferences last week are due tomorrow, January 29. Please know that this first step in the re-enrollment process helps save a spot for your child in 2019. We have robust interest in next year's programs, and we want to be sure our current families get first dibs!
If you by chance did not return the form today and your child will not be in school tomorrow, please consider dropping off the form in the overnight box located by the front door of the Administration building. Please feel free to email Michele Kornegay at

Goshen Parent Community
Check your child's backpack for a
flyer for
the Annual Valentine's Day Dance, to be held
Friday, February 8,
in the Grange from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.! The cost is $10 per child with a maximum cost of $20 per family. Adults and children 2 and under are free. Volunteers are needed for this fun annual event. Click here to sign up to donate paper products, snacks, beverages, and desserts. The school will provide pizza.
Our next Restaurant Night is this Thursday, January 31, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Outback Steakhouse in Frazer (675 Lancaster Avenue). Present this flyer or identify yourself as a supporter of Goshen Friends School, and Outback will donate 18% of your
total check to GFS!
The GPC will hold its next meeting on
Friday, February 8, at 9 a.m. in the Grange. Free childcare will be provided; contact Extended Care at 610-696-8937 or

Save the date for our annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair! The Book Fair will be held March 28 - through April 7 at the Exton Barnes & Noble. Online orders using a special code will also be accepted during this time. The Book Fair Community Night - featuring teacher readings, an in-store scavenger hunt, and a special GFS frappucino - will be held March 28 from 6 - 8 p.m.
The SNAP Pizza Restaurant Night will also be held on
March 28, from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more info!
