We're back! Yesterday we welcomed this year's Owls, Bears, Bumblebees, and Butterflies classes, and today our Froggies and Ladybugs classes arrived for their first day of school. Dear Goshen families,

Welcome back! What a treat it is to see the classrooms filled with happy children again! We really missed them over the summer. And parents, too!

Many thanks for your patience as we smooth out the car line kinks. We'll get there!

Welcome back everyone! Good luck to you and your little ones this week. Thank you for all the excitement at Orientation about volunteering this year. 

There will be a Fall Harvest Fair GPC Meeting this Friday, September 14, at 9 a.m. in the Grange. If you need Extended Care during the meeting, please notify Tr. Extended Care

We are off to a great start in Extended Care, with lots of old and new friends joining us for Breakfast Club, Lunch Bunch, and more this week!

In Other News ...

The Back to School Picnic is scheduled for this Friday, September 14, from 5:30-7:00. This event is a potluck meal - please bring a nut-free dish to share! If Mother Nature is not cooperating and we need to postpone the picnic to our rain date of September 21, we will notify parents via email by Friday morning. We will also share updates on  Facebook and Twitter . Stay tuned!


Please check your child's backpack for information about the 9th Annual Goshen Friends School Hayride, to be held on Sunday, September 30, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Wynnorr Farm. The event, sponsored by the General Committee, includes a scenic hayride, campfire, hot dog roast with s'mores, and more! The cost is $15 per person, $50 maximum per family. Checks should be made payable to "Goshen Friends School" and sent in via your child's backpack (or dropped off in in the Office). All proceeds benefit GFS. RSVP by September 28!
