MONTHLY GRACE CAFÉ FOOD DRIVE

Christ Church continues the monthly Food Drive for Grace Café. For August, please bring canned items such as soups, tuna, chicken, and ravioli. A donation basket has been placed in the parish hall for your convenience. Thank you!!!

Episcopal 101 and All Things Christ Church Offering & Light Supper

Please join us on Wednesday evenings this summer as we continue our discussions about all things Episcopal and more specifically Christ Church. This is a terrific opportunity to learn more about Christ Church and The Episcopal Church… or at least a good refresher. Beginning at 5:30p each Wednesday evening between now and the end of August, a different topic will be discussed, with different folks presenting each week, followed by a light supper.

** Bishop Logue will be at Christ Church on August 31 for his Visitation. These “classes” will also serve as the formation for anyone wishing to be Confirmed, Received or Reaffirmed when he comes. 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9

7a – 11a

To spruce up before Bishop Logue’s visitation and to kick off the new school year, we will gather to complete a list of projects. Given the heat, we will focus mostly indoors. EVERYONE is encouraged to come, regardless of skill or experience! Projects will include painting, cleaning, nailing, scraping etc.  A list of projects will be posted on the bulletin board in the parish hall along with the sign-up sheet. Drinks and Snacks provided. 

Preschool starts on August 13, 2025. We are taking applications for vacancies in all age groups. Contact: Elise Sandbach at 229-630-4738 or via e-mail at sandbach1@bellsouth.net.

PRESCHOOL WISH LIST:  Before the preschool year starts each fall we have a supply drive. This year we are going to have a Preschool – Wish List. After graduating from deaconess school, many became nurses, teachers, and church helpers in disadvantaged areas both abroad and in the United States. Christian Education for Adults

Every Sunday at 9:15a Christian Education has a learning session about the Sunday readings from 9:15a until 9:45a. We are looking for more members to join and participate in these sessions.
