Episcopal 101 and All Things Christ Church Offering & Light Supper
Please join us on Wednesday evenings this summer as we continue our discussions about all things Episcopal and more specifically Christ Church. This is a terrific opportunity to learn more about Christ Church and The Episcopal Church… or at least a good refresher. Beginning at 5:30p each Wednesday evening between now and the end of August, a different topic will be discussed, with different folks presenting each week, followed by a light supper.
July 30: GUIDED EUCHARIST – The Liturgy
Aug 6: Colors of the Seasons/Church Calendar
Aug 13: CALLED – The Orders of the Church – Deacon Nancy Sartin
Aug 20: The Episcopal Church Structure – Molly Stevenson
Aug 27: Ministry Opportunities at Christ Church – Ministry Leaders
** Bishop Logue will be at Christ Church on August 31 for his Visitation. These “classes” will also serve as the formation for anyone wishing to be Confirmed, Received or Reaffirmed when he comes.

| | Preschool Teacher Aides Needed for Fall School Year at Christ Church Preschool. Pass the word - Christ Church Preschool is in need of teacher aides for the 2025 fall semester. Contact: Elise Sandbach, Director at 229-630-4738 or via e-mail at sandbach1@bellsouth.net | | PRESCHOOL WISH LIST: Before the preschool year starts each fall we have a supply drive. This year we are going to have a Preschool – Wish List. By scanning the code below you will be able to see what is on our Wish List for this coming year. Pick your item and put it in your cart and purchase when you are finished shopping. Thank you in advance to everyone for your continued support of the Christ Church preschool, without you we would not be able to continue serving our church families and the community. | | MONTHLY GRACE CAFÉ FOOD DRIVE: Beginning this month, Christ Church will participate in a monthly Food Drive for Grace Café. For July, please bring Coffee and Snacks. Individually packaged snacks such as granola bars, protein bars, crackers, and K Cups. Our students are not picky about their coffee, but they do like fun flavors! A donation basket has been placed in the parish hall for your convenience. Thank you!!! | | INTERESTED IN THE HISTORY OF THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH: My website Sisters in Faith (sisters-in-faith.org) commemorates forgotten Episcopal deaconesses, those who could not be ordained because they were women. After graduating from deaconess school, many became nurses, teachers, and church helpers in disadvantaged areas both abroad and in the United States. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact Deacon Patricia Marks (spmarks@bellsouth.net; 229-630-8644). | | RECTOR SEARCH UPDATE: Please continue to pray for whomever God is calling to serve with us in the next chapter and continue to pray for the Holy Spirit’s presence among us. | | WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Meet every Thursday, from 10:15a -11:15a at Marcia McRae’s home. We will be studying The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. If anyone is interested in joining you can either show up or call Tammy Borders at 229-560-5889 for more information. | | | |
Christian Education for Adults
Every Sunday at 9:15a Christian Education has a learning session about the Sunday readings from 9:15a until 9:45a. We are looking for more members to join and participate in these sessions.

Livestreaming
The broadcast of the 10a worship service on July 27, 2025, will begin on the church's Facebook page and YouTube channel at approximately 9:50a. Recorded videos of past services are also available on both of those platforms.
For those worshipping in-person, we have a hearing assistance feature available inside the church as part of our sound system. This feature uses your smartphone and your earbuds or hearing aids to bring the sound directly into your ears. A detailed information sheet is linked here, and printed copies are also available from the ushers or the Audio/Visual booth staff.
