Welcome Watson Herrington! Born on June 9, 2025 to parents Tanner and Cailee Herrington and big sister, Magnolia.
Congratulations to Pepi Nelson who was recently presented the Volunteer Leadership Award by the South Central Chapter of the American Red Cross for her service and for having completed over 2,000 hours of volunteer work. THAT is being the hands and feet of Christ in the world!!
Joel Williams was honored in his position at South Georgia Medical Center with a BEE Award which stand for Being Extraordinary Everyday! He is certainly living into “Love one another as I have loved you”! Way to go, Joel!
Independence Day Service Join us at 11am on July 4th here at Christ Church for a combined service with St. Barnabas, Christ the King and St. James. Following the service, which will include the Holy Eucharist and patriotic music, Sue Ellen Rumstay will once again perform an organ recital of patriotic music. All to be followed by a “Cold Covered Dish Lunch”, including red, white & blue popsicles! Bring your favorite salad, chips, or sub sandwiches to share.

Episcopal 101 and All Things Christ Church Offering & Light Supper –
Please join us on Wednesday evenings this summer for discussions about all things Episcopal and more specifically Christ Church. This will be a terrific opportunity to learn more about Christ Church and The Episcopal Church… or at least a good refresher. Beginning at 5:30PM on June 25 and running for 9 weeks (excluding July 2) a different topic will be discussed, with different folks presenting each week, followed by a light supper.

For those worshipping in-person, we have a hearing assistance feature available inside the church as part of our sound system. This feature uses your smartphone and your earbuds or hearing aids to bring the sound directly into your ears. A detailed information sheet is linked here, and printed copies are also available from the ushers or the Audio/Visual booth staff.
