Hearing Assistance Recently Improved

As many of you know, for some time we have had a hearing assistance feature available inside the church as part of our sound system. This feature uses your smartphone and your earbuds or hearing aids to bring the sound directly into your ears. One downside of our initial installation of this system was a noticeable "lag time" between the sound coming from the speakers inside the church and the sound being relayed into your ears through the hearing assistance program. So -- good news! The software for this system has recently been upgraded, and as a result. this lag time has been almost totally eliminated. If you have tried the system earlier and been disappointed, you might want to give it another try.

A detailed information sheet about this system is linked here, and printed copies are also available from the ushers or the Audio/Visual booth staff. For questions, please contact any member of the A/V team.

Sisters in Faith Interested in the History of The Episcopal Church: My website Sisters in Faith (sisters-in-faith.org) commemorates forgotten Episcopal deaconesses, those who could not be ordained because they were women. After graduating from deaconess school, many became nurses, teachers, and church helpers in disadvantaged areas both abroad and in the United States.
