While It Was Yet Dark:

A 7-week Easter Practice

Resource Credit – Kate Bowler

Did you know that Easter is not just a day? It is the stretch of fifty days that begins Resurrection Sunday and lasts until Pentecost. This is the season of practicing hope… even when hope doesn’t seem easy to come by. Here is a resource (Life Together Apart) for you to use individually or with a group of friends. There are seven sessions which includes a short video
(between 6 to 9 minutes in length).

Below each video, you’ll find 3-4 video discussion questions as well as a prayer you can use for individual reflection or to guide a group conversation.

Below each video, you’ll also find a link to download daily journaling pages (that are available to be printed or filled in digitally) if you want to dive deeper into a daily practice of prayer, connection, and self-reflection.

This resource is from Kate Bowler who is an author, speaker, and professor. Click here for more information about her.

God's grace transforms & connects us
WELCA, Immanuel Lutheran, Pflugerville

Our WELCA unit has recently been given a nice large room for ministry. Prior to this we used at least 4-5 places in the church complex for storage. Photos indicate how we are now able to consolidate and organize. Everything is now so efficient. We never have to take down and put up the quilting frame each time when used. The crafts and prayer shawls are in another room. If you are in the area please come by Immanuel to see our new space.
