Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise
for all that you have
done for us.

We thank you for the splendor
of the whole  creation,
for the beauty of this world,
for the wonder of life,
and for the mystery of love.

Donation to Food for the Poor
Bishop Peter Eaton and Canon Mark Sims, of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, presented an additional Thanksgiving Day check to Robin Mahfood, president of Food for the Poor, for $40,000.00. The funds were raised by Episcopal parishes in Southeast Florida to aid individuals and churches devastated by Hurricane Matthew in the Diocese of the Bahamas. Funds raised were used to purchase and immediately deliver building materials and sustainability supplies shipped to residents in the hardest-hit areas.

Compassionate God, bless the people who guide the programs of Episcopal Charities of the Diocese of Southeast Florida as, following in the footsteps of Jesus, they minister to the sick, the friendless and the needy. We pray especially for____________________(ministry name) which provides _________________  (ministry description) through ____________________(parish or entity sponsor). Help them continue always to reach out in love and mercy to those suffering in our communities, that they may be a source of comfort and support in times of need; through Jesus Christ who called us to feed his sheep in manifesting our love for him. Amen.
