You're Invited!

Join us Saturday, May 8th, at 5:00 pm for an evening of wine, food, and fun hosted by Jack Mason, Master Sommelier. We'll begin with a champagne reception in the clubhouse followed by hors d'oeuvres then taste a flight of ten, new Bordeaux wines coming to the GHSC wine portfolio.

Jack will be on deck to chat all things wine and answer all your burning questions.

Jack Mason, Master Sommelier

"Jack Mason achieved MS status (Master Sommelier) at the very young age of 27 and is one of the youngest to do so. He is one of only nine esteemed Master Sommeliers in Texas and one of 144 Master Sommeliers in the United States.

Jack has been featured in Forbes’s annual “30 Under 30” list of outstanding young professionals nationwide, Zagat’s “30 Under 30” list in New York City, and was named Wine & Spirits “Best New Sommelier 2015.” He was also featured in the series “Uncorked” on the Esquire Network that followed his journey to receiving his MS certification.

In his personal life, this Master Sommelier enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and working on the house he shares with his wife Carly and their Goldendoodle, Mr. Bojangles."

Please help keep your club neat and clean by picking up any special gifts your furry friends leave behind!
Retriever Training at Greater Houston Sports Club
This year you might have heard the words “back!” and “over!” echoing in the early morning hours instead of the more familiar “pull!” It’s our club members who utilize the club grounds during non-core hours for dog training, and it’s become one of the club’s more popular outdoor activities. It is getting harder and harder to find a property close to Houston to train and work sporting and hunting dogs, and the club’s ponds and fields provide a great alternative!

Always with an eye on safety, the dog trainers have been out in the hours before we open the club to shooters, both during the week and on weekends. If you’d like to take advantage of the opportunity, please contact Kevin by clicking here. — R.K. Sawyer

Monday/Tuesday - Closed
Wed/Thurs/Fri - Noon to Dusk
Saturday - 9am to Dusk
Sunday - 9am to 6pm
The Clubhouse | Steak Night
Steak Night is in full swing every week on Wednesday and Thursday evenings!

Bring a steak, and we'll do the rest!

The grill is lit at 6:15 pm, and sides are served at 7:00 pm.
