|
In spite of the challenges we all have faced as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, Greater Houston Sports Club staff and leadership worked hard to provide a safe and fun outdoors experience, and succeeded in no short measure because of you, our supportive members, patrons, and guests.
We are excited to announce that as of June 3, 2020, regular club operations are scheduled to resume with minimal, but vital, updates regarding social distancing and COVID-19 related sanitation procedures.

Be sure and look for our newest course setting known as the "Mixed Bag Course." Each station on this course will have an advanced, intermediate, and beginner level target.
The Mixed Bag Course is perfect for shooters of different skill levels who want to shoot together, shooters training for competition, or for shooters who want to design their own unique challenge of target presentations!

The Bar is back on Wednesday, June 3, 2020!
To accompany the return of Bar Service, our wine aficionados will discover an exciting mix of six, brand new, off-menu wines from
Orin Swift Cellars
and
Daou Vineyards
.
We stock over thirty bottled beer labels and over sixty, hand selected wines. Our wine list is constantly in flux, so be sure to check it often on The Clubhouse page of our website (

) to see recent updates to the wine collection.
Our current wine portfolio includes selections from the vintners below, plus many more!
We are also excited about the upcoming launch of an exclusive wine club, available only to members of Greater Houston Sports Club!

New Amenities | Catch & Release Pond
|
Our catch-and-release pond is stocked with bass and ready for you to spend some quality time out by the water reeling them in!
With a little luck and good timing, you might get the chance to cast your line along side our resident fishing expert and angler extraordinaire, Juniper Boire, pictured left!
Come enjoy the pond with your kids, guests, or make it a solo outing!

Staff Spotlight | The Events Team
|
|
|
|
Two Greater Houston employees who need no introduction are Ashley Reyes and Afton Stone!
Ashley and Afton run our Events Department. Rarely slowing down, they are usually found in the office working hard at their computers or hustling outside running our next big event.
Ashley is our Events Director and began her career at Greater Houston in July of 2014. Afton joined the Greater Houston family in January of 2017. After starting in the bar, Afton was quickly tapped by Ashley to be her right hand lady as an Events Coordinator.
Teaming up with our COO, Kevin Dougherty and Operations Director, Mike Boire, Ashley and Afton form the glue that holds together our corporate event and tournament schedule every year, ensuring each event is memorable and amazing. They deserve a huge and ongoing thanks for their exceptional work in making Greater Houston Sports Club a premier shooting sports complex.
