Learning Torah is the Best!!!
There is no doubt that Torah has kept our people alive for the past 3500 years.
Learning Torah with one’s children is precious.
Learning Torah with one’s grandchildren is heavenly.
As I sit with my five year old grandson and learn the exact same words which Rashi learned with his grandchildren, I am overcome with joy and emotion.
When that act of learning Torah is being done in Yerushalayim, it’s indescribable.
Rashi was privileged to learn Torah with his grandson Rabbeinu Tam. Yet, that letting was done on the blood-stained soil of Germany or France.
I am privileged to learn Torah in the Holy Tongue, in the Holy Land, in the Holy City of Yerushalayim.
How can my heart not be overflowing with joy and gratitude to He who has given me this privilege???
