Flexmls Pro App Update: Add An Open House From Anywhere

Face Masks/Coverings Required During Showings and Open Houses
CTR has confirmed with the state that there are no changes to the requirements for wearing a face mask or cloth face covering when entering a property for a business purpose such as a real estate showing or an open house. It remains required along with observing distancing standards when you are inside the property. However, it also remains applicable that if an individual has a medical condition where his/her/their health or safety is threatened by a face covering, if under the age of 2 or if it's an older child where there is not an ability to safely secure a mask, there is an exemption to the rule. You may not require medical documentation verifying the medical condition.

Conveyance Tax Increase and Property Tax Credit Against Income Tax
The CT General Assembly/Office of Legislative Research has released an overview and explanation of the updated breakdown of
Real Estate Conveyance Tax in Connecticut
. In particular, please note the section in regards to the Property Tax Credit Against Income Tax. Beginning in 2021 taxpayers who paid conveyance tax at the 2.25% rate may be able to claim a property tax credit against state income tax liability if they remain a resident of CT. New Town of Greenwich Mill Rates Effective as of 7/1
As of Wednesday, July 1st, the Mill Rates for the Town of Greenwich are as follows:
- Sewer: 12.02
- Septic: 11.59
This information has been posted within the GAR/GMLS Resources for reference. The rates will be automatically updated in FlexMLS for existing listings in all areas of Greenwich. Changes to mill rates for out-of-town listings will need to be manually updated by the listing agent.
