The Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA) acknowledges the work of SSA takes place on the lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 10 the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota, and Saulteaux peoples as well as the homeland of the Metis and is committed to having a board of directors (Board) that is comprised of talented and dedicated directors with diverse lived experiences.
As an inclusive and equitable Board, the Board welcomes people from all parts of Saskatchewan, including First Nation and Metis peoples, people of all abilities, professional expertise, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, and age.
The Nominations Committee has determined the current SSA Board is both diverse and skilled, but as a priority, it seeks to recruit individuals with experience in financial management, government relations, and legal expertise.
Other areas of focus include- Non-profit governance, Corporate partnerships, Communications, Public relations, and Marketing
