GridWise Alliance at Distributech!

The GridWise Alliance team has just returned from DISTRIBUTECH, the utility industry’s premier transmission & distribution conference. We were excited to see at least 25 member companies represented there, either with exhibits on the floor or as attendees, and we tried to connect with each one.

GridWise CEO Karen Wayland, participated in two sessions sponsored by GridWise members. In her first session (Schneider Electric), she discussed Bulk Power, Policy and Regulation and in the second (Dell Technologies), she shared important Energy Policy Updates.

Overall, we had an incredible time at DISTRIBUTECH—connecting with our members, exchanging ideas, and diving into the latest industry insights. We're already looking forward to next year!

Share the Impact of Tariffs on Your Business

GridWise Alliance is seeking a better understanding of how tariffs will affect the price of grid components, and even the price of electricity imported from Canada and Mexico, and how those increased costs will affect ratepayers.

If you have analysis of how tariffs will affect your business—whether you are a utility, manufacturer, vendor, grid operator, or consultant—please consider sharing this information with our CEO, directly and confidentially.

We will never share company-specific information with the public, but your analyses will help us develop a GridWise position and communications strategy on tariffs that will inform not only our GridWise advocacy work, but that of a broader coalition of stakeholders that is building to respond to these policy changes.
