She discussed the state of grid modernization in the United States as well as the impacts of infrastructure improvements on communities, including equity and affordability.

GMI Readiness Framework

If you have not done so already, please review and download the GMI Readiness Framework. This publication is a tool for states and utilities to evaluate grid modernization progress. The GMI Readiness Framework is the first phase in a three-part evolution of the Grid Modernization Index (GMI). The next two stages will be:   Data collection and research into state grid readiness levels. Publication of the GMI Readiness Report, evaluating states on their readiness and illustrating pathways for continued forward movement.   GridWise Alliance is currently fundraising to support a comprehensive research process for the report. If you would like to support this initiative or for more information, please email K.
