Parent and Coach Meeting for RoboCubs and RoboGrizzlies

There will be two parents and coaches meetings on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 . One will be at 3:30 p.m. and the other will be at 5:30 p.m. These meetings will address the curriculum / activities for the rest of the year and plans for next year.
If you are interested in having RoboGrizzlies and RoboCubs continue to be an activity for your child or if you would like your child to participate next year, please attend one of these meetings.
Half-Day of School

Friday, March 31st
Students will be dismissed at 11:30
Last Day to Turn in Box Tops and Bottle Caps

Please have all Box Tops and Bottle Caps turned in by  Friday, March 31st . Please put your child's name on the outside of the bag. On the bags of Bottle Caps, please also include the quantity of caps inside the bag. 
MGS Elementary Math Competition

Good luck to our Grizzly Elementary Math Team! Next Saturday, April 1st, they will compete against other elementary schools in a city wide competition. 
PTA Board Nominations

The nominating committee is looking for a new PTA board for the 2017-2018 school year.

Huntsville Museum of Art Needs Volunteers

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer position? We have many exciting volunteer opportunities in our Museum!

The  Summer 2017 Youth Volunteer Program application process is now open. Students must be age 14 or older to participate in the program.  Application deadline is Friday, May 5.

Summer Labs Registration

Registration is now open for Huntsville City Schools' Summer Labs! The summer program has seven weeks of summer fun planned, and camps will be offered in subject matter ranging from Culinary Cook-off to Itsy Bitsy Bugs Life! 
Don't miss out on the early bird pricing - available until April 2. In addition, if your child attends all seven weeks, the last week is free!
Early Bird Pricing (ends 4/2):
$20/registration fee
$110/week for full days (7 :00am - 5:45pm)
$70/week for half-days (7:00am - 12:00pm or 12:00pm - 5:45pm)

Publix Partners

Please ask the cashier to scan your card every time you shop your local Publix. For every $37,500 spent cumulatively by our school's participants, Publix will award our PTA $250. You may check the board at customer service for our quarterly cumulative total.

If you do not have a Publix Partners card, stop by the Welcome Center to pick one up.
Box Tops for Education

You may start turning in  your  box tops!  Remember to put the student's name and homeroom teacher on the bag. You don't have to count, just label the bag. For more information about the Box Tops for Education program, click here
