HCS Calendar Update 

No School on Fri., Feb. 16 & Mon., Feb. 19

Full Day of School on Wed. Feb. 7 & Friday March 2

There will be no school on Friday, February 16, 2018 and Monday, February 19, 2018, since this date is a scheduled, unused, "snow make up day" in the 2017-2018 school calendar.
Library Volunteers Needed

One of the busiest times at the Mt. Gap lower library/media center is first thing in the morning; unfortunately, there are no student workers then! Parent volunteers would be a tremendous help.  Can you commit to one morning every other week to help kids check in/check out books, shelve books, and generally keep things organized? Slots are biweekly from 7:45 A.M. - 9:00 A.M.  If you can work weekly, just enter your name in both sets of slots.  Many thanks!!

Middle School Information

Mountain Gap has implemented an 8th period advisement program for this school year.  As part of this program, each  student will have a chance to complete a  student  led parent conference twice per year.  Each child will be given a form which should provide clarity for these conferences. To view and download the form, click  here

Please complete the bottom of the form then send it back to school with your child by January 16. 

The event is scheduled for 2/7/18 as follows: 
8:00 - 9:00 6th Grade in the Cafeteria,  9:00 - 10:00 7th Grade in the Cafeteria, and  10:00 - 11:00 8th Grade in Media Center.
