Attend a Safe Space Training this Spring!
Rainbow P.A.W.S. (Pride at Work and School) is hosting several Safe Space training workshops for the Spring semester! Each workshop is two hours long and features a Q&A at the end.

Commentary: Agreement Preserves South Side Land, Creates Outdoor Lab for Future
A collaboration between Texas A&M University-San Antonio, and the San Antonio River Authority will create a host of new educational and recreational opportunities for the university’s students and faculty, and the San Antonio community. Finalized in November, the partnership is based around a wonderful natural asset: 380 pristine acres on the South Side near Mission Espada.
The collaboration will not only help preserve and restore this valuable tract of land but also guide the vision for educational projects, such as a learning center where students can study the area’s plants and wildlife. The idea is to create an outdoor laboratory for long-term research initiatives in the fields of biology, ecology, public health and history. This positions Texas A&M University-San Antonio, as the region’s only university with in-field research opportunities dating back to prehistory. Read more.
