Academic Highlights

Improving the Health of San Antonians

The University recently launched the Public Health Genetics and Genomics Laboratory. The initiative will identify and study the genetic factors influencing diseases that are alarmingly prevalent in Texas, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. The program will also help engage students and boost the local healthcare workforce. Read more
