Dear Colleagues –
By now, everyone has heard about the incredible victories by the U.S. Men’s and Women’s hockey teams. Both entered their gold-medal games as underdogs — and both delivered thrilling overtime wins.
While the headlines celebrate athletic achievement, the story behind those victories feels familiar to us in healthcare.
Champions, whether in sports or in medicine, share the same foundation:
Preparation:
Every champion begins with dedication. Success requires a willingness to put in the hours needed to build skills, deepen knowledge, and refine performance.
Experience:
Education creates a foundation, but experience is what transforms that knowledge into mastery. Over years of hands‑on work, professionals grow stronger, faster, and more capable.
Passion:
Champions are driven by a deep passion for what they do. Hard work, ongoing learning, and constant improvement become easier when fueled by a genuine desire to be the best we can be.
Teamwork:
No champion succeeds alone. Whether in an individual sport like running or a team sport like hockey, every victory is supported by countless people behind the scenes. Healthcare is no different.
At HCI, we take pride in being champions of diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients across the United States. We are committed to rigorous preparation, lifelong learning, and delivering high‑quality care to underserved communities in both rural and urban settings. And we couldn’t do any of it without our valued partners who share our mission and values.
As we celebrate these inspiring athletic victories, let them remind us of what is possible when preparation, passion, experience, and teamwork come together. Thank you for all you do each day to help us carry that champion spirit into the lives of the patients we serve.
Best Regards,
|
