Theranostics—where diagnosis and therapy are combined—represents the future of nuclear medicine. Using the same molecular targets for both imaging and treatment, clinicians can now precisely locate tumors and deliver targeted therapy. Lutetium-based therapies like Lutathera and Pluvicto are already changing care for patients with neuroendocrine and prostate cancers.
