December 2025

Greetings!

As we reflect on the year, we are filled with gratitude for your continued support and dedication to the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County. With your help, we’ve been able to continue making spirits bright, one home at a time. Whether you’ve given financially, volunteered on-site, or supported our families in other meaningful ways, you are the reason we can expand affordable housing opportunities here in Monroe County.

In 2025, we broke ground on 12 homes, helping families build a strong foundation for a brighter future. At Habitat for Humanity, that foundation includes more than building houses. Through coaching, education and support, Habitat provides opportunities for individuals and families to create stable and self-reliant futures.

As we wrap up another year of building together, we want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. From our family to yours, we wish each of you a warm and happy holiday season.

Please note that the Habitat administrative office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24 – Sunday, January 4. We will reopen following regular business hours on Monday, January 5.

In partnership,

Wendi Goodlett

President and CEO, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County

Save the date! More Than Houses is March 10, 2026

Join us for our annual More Than Houses event at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Monroe County Convention Center. This special evening will include a buffet dinner and an opportunity to hear directly from Habitat families and leaders about the impact your support is making in our community. It’s also a chance to learn more about the Habitat program and how, together, we can continue expanding affordable housing opportunities in Monroe County. More Than Houses is free to attend, and there will be an opportunity to make a contribution during the event.

Your presence at More Than Houses demonstrates your commitment to building strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter in our community. We hope you can join us!

Will we see you there?
