The build will run through November 2, with dedicated volunteers from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business—comprising students, faculty, staff, and alumni—working every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. On Friday, October 18, our incredible volunteers will also team up with staff from Whirlpool Corporation on the build site.
This initiative, made possible through our invaluable partnership with Whirlpool and the Kelley School of Business, is part of Whirlpool’s BuildBetter program, which focuses on creating energy-efficient and hazard-resilient homes. Whirlpool Corporation has generously sponsored 13 homes in Monroe County and donated energy-efficient appliances for all our homes (and every Habitat home in the US and Canada!), helping more families achieve homeownership. Collaborating with the Kelley School, where many Whirlpool leaders are alumni, further strengthens our community engagement, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to build a brighter future together for families like Angelique’s.
We invite you to join us on Saturday, October 19, at 8:30 a.m. at Angelique’s home in the Osage Place neighborhood for a special celebration honoring her and her family, as well as the collaborative efforts that make homeownership possible. Come and enjoy the festivities, complete with refreshments! Parking is available at RCA Community Park, and no RSVP is required. Together, we’re building hope, homes, and brighter futures with families in our community.
Angelique's home is sponsored by Whirlpool Corporation, in partnership with the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
