Letter from Todd
Greetings and happy holidays to all of our incredible employees, clients, business partners, and everyone else who enjoyed 2023 with us!
It feels like 2023 came and went like a flash. As I reflect on the year, I can't help but to feel blessed knowing we shared another successful year as a team. We worked on some impactful projects for our communities, brought on new team members who are making immediate impacts to our team, purchased new equipment for our fleet, tidied up some internal processes, and continued celebrating the achievements of our loyal Hardman Construction employees. None of this would be possible without you.
As I look to 2024, I am excited for what the year will bring. We will continue to invest in our company and employees, work with our clients and business partners, and build great projects. But most importantly, we hope to have some fun along the way.
As always, thank you for choosing to work with Hardman Construction. We appreciate all you put into the company to make us who we are.
From the entire Hardman Construction family, we wish you the happiest holiday season!

It wouldn't be a Hardman Construction Christmas without photos.
Enjoy a look back on the many memorable moments we shared with one another.

Each dedicated employee helps make Hardman Construction a success.
Please help us congratulate those employees achieving career milestones this year!

FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Mike Cooper, Truck Driver
|
Mike came to Hardman Construction from the manufacturing industry. While he wasn’t necessarily familiar with construction, he was familiar with how to work hard and (most importantly!) how to work with a great attitude. In his 5 years as a Truck Driver with the Company, Mike’s can-do spirit is infectious. He is always willing to give a helping hand, regardless of the task. He is one of those people everyone looks forward to showing up with a delivery to the jobsite and sharing a story or joke with. The team couldn’t be happier that he decided to change industries and join HCI!

TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Heidi Anderson, Executive Assistant
|
Have you ever had a burning question about Hardman and needed an answer? Or maybe you needed to find out who to contact for something specific? If so, you’ve probably talked with Heidi, the Company’s Executive Assistant. Heidi is celebrating 10 years with Hardman. She is the glue that keeps the office running and keeps everyone in line—or at least tries! Her day is filled with interruptions of fielding questions and requests of others and she does it all with a smile on her face. Without her there would be so many items that would fall through the cracks or that simply would not get done. HCI is lucky to have Heidi, her willingness to help with anything, and her care for the people who she works with. She is a great blend of kindness, fun, and intelligence. Hardman would not be the same without her!

Nate Brasher, Superintendent
|
Nate has been running work in the field for Hardman as a Superintendent. Besides his ability and knowledge of the work, Nate’s fun-loving spirit and ability to connect with just about anyone are two of his best qualities. He takes time to get to know his crew, which is no doubt one of the keys to helping him lead them successfully. Nate is a great balance of “old school” meeting “new school”—he has the ability to push people through tough conditions, while also freely sharing knowledge and training crew members. Always ready to share a great story or a joke, Nate helps make Hardman the place where people want to work. HCI is lucky to have Nate on its team!

Andy has been with Hardman Construction for the past 10 years. In his current role as a Mechanic, Andy makes sure the field stays running—which is no small task! Andy’s easy-going personality and ability to get along with everyone puts anyone he meets at ease. A company such as Hardman has many pieces of specialty equipment, which means much of what is worked on is completely new to people coming to the Company. From day one, Andy has shown just how good his mechanical skills are and has become an integral part of the HCI team. The job of a Mechanic is not always easy, especially when the field crews are waiting for something to be fixed on site. However, knowing Andy is there to assess and fix issues puts everyone at ease. HCI is better having Andy on its team and looks forward to many more years!

TWENTY-FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Danny Ruggero, Shop/Yard
|
Danny has been a team member in the Shop at Hardman over the past 25 years. He is like a book full of knowledge. He wants to soak up as much information as possible so he can get as much done in a day as possible. Anyone who has visited the Shop at Hardman has surely seen Danny buzzing around the yard. He is a ball of energy! Danny can identify where just about anything is located in the yard. The pride Danny takes in his work doesn’t go unnoticed and is appreciated by everyone at HCI. Danny helps the entire team be successful with everything he does behind the scenes. Hardman is lucky to have Danny and looks forward to many more years working with him!

THIRTY-FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Dave Kronlein, Fabricator
|
It is hard to put into writing what Dave means to Hardman Construction. After 35 years, Dave can do just about everything in the Shop—and can do it extremely well! When you think about someone who is a jack of all trades, Dave truly fits that description. His ability to fabricate items for the field, fix equipment, or work through ideas to solve problems is unparalleled. Dave can take the most indecipherable “napkin blueprint” and fabricate exactly what is needed. Or maybe he will talk through a project with a Project Manager and design exactly what is needed in his head as he is talking about it. He has talent on top of talent. What’s more, Dave is just as good of a person as he is an employee. Having Dave on the team the past 35 years has made HCI better and the Company couldn’t be more grateful to have him!

Warm wishes to you and yours for a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season!
