- HR trends for 2019 suggest employers consider:

  • What candidates tell us : Candidates are expressing concern regarding the length of time that employers take in making a hiring decision and the lack of communication regarding the status of the hiring process. We recommend that employers create a recruitment plan and timeline.
  • Working remotely: Is this an option for any of your staff? Does your business have a policy regarding employees' work assignments, reporting, and approval for offsite work? If not, please contact us for guidance.
  • Employee referral programs: Are your current staff referring prospects for hire? We have found that many strong hires result from employee referrals. If you're interested in incentivizing your current staff for referrals, we can help you create a plan.

To discuss any of these trends, and more, please contact Nancy or Priscilla in our Workforce Development Department!
