As summer comes to a close and children head back to school, I reflect on the daily impact we can make.

We're excited to share the remarkable impact of Trustbridge’s mission in action over the past year. I'm humbled that we are welcomed into the lives of our patients and their families during times of great vulnerability, joining together with love and compassion to celebrate life. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the lives of those who, day in and day out, touch the hearts of others.

Honoring a Legacy

Trustbridge Hospice Foundation is pleased to announce the Dr. Faustino Gonzalez Physician Fellow Scholarship in honor of the enduring foundational influence Dr. Gonzalez leaves behind after almost 24 years in Trustbridge service.

The award will be bestowed upon a Trustbridge Physician Fellow who exemplifies the highest level of compassionate care and commitment to the field.

Awarded annually to support the ongoing growth and development of the Palliative & Hospice Care Fellowship program at Trustbridge, it will serve as an enduring promise to the mission of compassionate end-of-life care and that Dr. Gonzalez's dedication to the field continues to inspire and support future generations of physicians.

Every year, over 12,000 patients and their families receive exceptional hospice care and bereavement support provided by Trustbridge but we couldn’t do this without the generosity of supporters like you. One of the largest ways where your support makes an impact is through programs such as the Charity Care Program.

What is Charity Care? Charity Care is the fund supported by Trustbridge Hospice Foundation that enables Trustbridge to provide compassionate hospice care to anyone in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, regardless of their financial circumstances. Last year, Trustbridge Hospice Foundation provided $1,509,369 and 6,301 days of Charitable Care to uninsured patients, a priceless gift of dignity & compassion.

The runway is open! Join us on Saturday, November 16 at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) for the 6^th annual Uptown 5K on the Runway!

You can put a team together, walk in honor of a loved one or come out for the chance to participate in a 5K fun run/walk on the FXE airport’s runway! Community members of all ages are welcome.

Registration is free but required. There will be entertainment, refreshments, a kid’s zone and more. All proceeds benefit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.

Save the date for the 2025 A Bourbon Affair, A Kentucky Derby Party! The event will be held on Kentucky Derby Saturday – May 3, 2025 in Fort Lauderdale. Guests will don their best derby attire and enjoy tasting 10+ Bourbons, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a Best Derby Hat contest. And guests will cheer on their favorite horse during the live Kentucky Derby race!
