AME headed to Martin County earlier this month to perform a vibration analysis on an overhauled two-part turbine pump. The customer was experiencing a great deal of vibration when operating the pump higher than 2430 rpm, only 70% of its maximum power. We detected resonance caused by piping stress after collecting and analyzing the vibration data with
PRUFTECHNIK's
VIBXPERT II and OMNITREND center.
Unable to pinpoint the source of excessive machinery vibration? Give us a call - we'll get to the root of the problem.
