The Heat is On in Massachusetts!
There’s still plenty of summer left here in Massachusetts this August, so take a plane, train, ferry, bus or just jump in the car and head to the Bay State! We just can’t wait to host you and we wouldn’t want you to miss all of the August fun and sights and sounds of summer that awaits. Like New Bedford’s Working Waterfront --- did you know that they are America’s largest commercial fishing port? Plus you can visit the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center to learn about year-round programs, exhibits, events and history celebrating commercial fishing culture. If you’re looking for culinary adventures, you’re in luck with amazing restaurants throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering ethic favorites and the freshest seafood. In fact, Open Table just named The Black Whale, New Bedford to their top 100 restaurants for outdoor dining and it’s right on the water – what could be better?
Our state initiative My Local MA encourages you to support our Main Street retailers, small businesses and family-owned companies.
