Christmas Update
Hark the Herald Angels Sing!

In 21 days the good people of St. James will gather once more either virtually or in person to celebrate that most holy night of Christmas and the gift of Emmanuel, God with us. As we have experienced throughout 2020, things will be different this year due to COVID and church construction. Christmas worship offerings will be as follows:

Christmas Eve
3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm, and 9:00pm
This year's service will be held in Bishop Hall with music from piano, strings, and choral singers. Please note that numbers will be limited due to available space while following COVID guidelines. A sign-up link will be shared next week and space is available on a first come, first seated basis. All services will be Rite II with Eucharist. This year's pageant is being prerecorded and will be shared via Facebook and YouTube on Sunday, December 20 and not as part of the 3:00pm service.

Streaming
An email will be sent out on Christmas Eve at 3:00pm that will contain a link to a service for families and individuals to join us as you are able from your home. This will be a pre-recorded service with music and the Ministry of the Word, similar to the service St. James provided for Easter.

Christmas Day
10:30am
The Christmas morning spoken service will also be held in Bishop Hall. Please note that numbers will be limited due to available space while following COVID guidelines. A sign-up link will be shared next week and space is available on a first come, first seated basis.

St. James Nursery Opening
We are excited to announce that our nursery will be re-opening on Sunday, December 13. We were pleased to realize that many COVID guidelines were already being implemented in our nursery, but we will be making some additions to provide a higher level of safety and cleanliness for our staff and students. Children to teacher ratios have been lowered, extra non-toxic cleaning protocols have been implemented, and nursery staff has received additional training regarding cleanliness protocols. Our check in/check out system will be slightly more detailed, and it’s important to note that all adults must be wearing a mask in the nursery.

For more information, please contact Family Ministry Coordinator, Haley Schroeck.
