Greetings!
Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28
Do you feel tired, overwhelmed, or burdened by the struggles and circumstances of this world? We so easily become overwhelmed by the brokenness around us. We are learning through our study this summer that provision can be found in God alone. He will meet us where we are and will carry us to where we need to go, if only we would turn to Him.
I think we have learned that there are so many elements to our faith practice that we have taken for granted. Whether gathering for worship, Bible study, or fellowship, our time together as the body of Christ is so important for our health and our churches are vital to Gospel growth in our communities. We recognize that this time of isolation has been difficult and we desperately need each other.
With this in mind, we have initiated a gradual process of resuming on-campus activities. The process involves a series of steps for us to engage in activities together with caution, allowing time for the conditions in our area to improve. The Drive Thru Fellowship and Picnic on the Grounds provided an opportunity for community and fellowship together in a safe environment. This week, small groups begin meeting on campus during the week for Bible study with more to come in the days ahead.
