Hello Michelle,

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8

Moses shared these words with Joshua as they prepared for a transition in leadership. I would imagine that Joshua found comfort and strength as he prepared to do hard things. Obedience to God and submission to His will often calls on us to do hard things.

We can take comfort in these words too. In our workplace, when work just keeps piling up. In our homes, when we struggle with the tyranny of the urgent. In our relationships, when life is just hard. God is with us. He longs for us to cry out to Him in our time of need. My question for you today is simple, “Are you trusting in God to guide you?” Seek after Him. He will be with you and will not leave you. There is no reason for you to be afraid. There is no reason to feel overwhelmed. God can handle it. You can do hard things.  Let God guide you to claim the victory in your workplace as you achieve the impossible. Let God bless your homes as you seek after His kingdom. Let God flourish in your relationships when life is difficult.

He can handle it all. Trust in Him. Listen and obey to His Word and His voice. Then count your blessings as you see God provide and you achieve the victory for the glory of God!

Congratulations Class of 2022

Basketball Camp

Registration for this years’ camp continues to grow! We will need your participation to help make this week a success!

How to help:

· Prayer partners — partner up with a friend and cover the camp in prayer

· Host a meal — provide a lunch or dinner for volunteers (contact the church office for details)

· Volunteer at camp — we need adults and youth to serve at camp to welcome campers, help with sign in/out procedures, and be available to serve as needed

· Volunteer at the Friday cookout — we will provide a hot dog lunch for campers and families on Friday— sign up to help cook, prepare, and/or serve lunch

· Follow Up team — we need volunteers to help follow up with families after camp. This team will reach out to parents, send thank you cards, and invite prospects to join us for worship.

This Sunday @ Baring Cross
