Greetings!
Day after day…week after week…2020 continues to provide new ways to experience old traditions. As we plan for the second half of the year, we are going to do our best to offer consistency in the midst of chaos. Most likely, our routines will look different. Maybe that’s a good thing though. We can always rely on God and His provision in our lives. As we are seeking wisdom in the book of Proverbs this summer, we are learning the pursuit, regardless of format, is always worthwhile. Yes, worship, Bible study, and fellowship may look different. The pursuit of those things, though, will be worth the effort.

We are excited to announce a new focus for our Kids’ Ministry. As parents, we are well aware of the limited amount of time that we have to impress truth on the lives of our children. We also know that you (parents) are the primary disciple-makers in your family, even with regular church involvement. You spend so much more time with your children than we even would at church, so it makes sense for us to partner together to take full advantage of whatever time we have left with our children.
Our Kids’ Ministry is committed to helping equip you to fully invest in the lives of your children. We are reframing our focus to provide consistent Bible study, worship, and family engagement opportunities for your family regardless of whether we are meeting online or on-campus. On-campus Bible study (when it resumes) will teach children to trust in God, make wise decisions, and grow in relationships. Parent resources will support the weekly teaching, offer family worship engagement, and resources such as crafts, games, and family activities to reinforce the focus of study.
We want every family to get started on this journey with us by visiting our Facebook page to learn how to download and use the ParentCue App. This App will help you be intentional with your children every week and equip you with the resources needed to thrive as a Godly parent. In addition to our online worship service, we will also post a kids’ worship service and activity guide called “Sunday at Home.” Preschool, K-3rd grade, and preteen options will be available for you to worship together as a family.
