Back-to-School Resource Fairs bring communities together

As students across the region headed back to school, LCSNW’s Greater Puget Sound District brought families and community partners together at Back-to-School Resource Fairs in SeaTac and Port Angeles. Both events provided students with essential school supplies while connecting families with resources, services, and community support.

LCSNW opens first onsite mental health clinic with Compass

An innovative project south of Seattle marks the first co-located service between Compass Housing Alliance, now a division of LCSNW, and LCSNW Behavioral Health.

We have launched an outpatient counseling site inside a private suite in Don’s Place, Compass’s emergency housing program in Auburn—bringing behavioral health services directly where they're needed.

A Message from Our District Director, Najib Nazhat

Welcome to the Hive!

As the fall season begins and students return to school, I’m reminded of the incredible impact our staff, volunteers, and community partners make every day across the Greater Puget Sound District. Together, we continue to strengthen communities, support families, and create opportunities for those we serve.

I’m excited to welcome you to The Hive, LCSNW’s refreshed e-newsletter. With a new look and expanded content, The Hive brings together stories, updates, and insights from across our district and throughout LCSNW. You’ll also find program highlights and data that help showcase the meaningful impact of our work.

In this issue, we’re celebrating some inspiring examples of impact in action.

A new front door: Introducing our redesigned LCSNW website

After months of planning and teamwork, LCSNW has launched a new website, our first since 2017. It’s more than a new look—it’s shaped by what we heard from staff, clients, and donors about how to make the site easier to use.

LCSNW adds energy to Seahawks partnership

For a third straight year, Compass Housing Alliance, the housing division of LCSNW, was selected as a Spirit of 12 partner with the Seattle Seahawks. Compass had its signature home game at Lumen Field on October 4. It was a fantastic day of community building as Compass volunteers, alongside their LCSNW colleagues, sold raffle tickets and raised more than $140,000 -- a Compass regular season record!
