The Hold Steady has unveiled Massive Nights 2025: 10 Years of Killer Parties!, the 10th annual edition of their beloved multi-night concert event held each year at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl, set for Wednesday, December 3 through Saturday, December 6

To commemorate the milestone occasion, the Hold Steady will kick off the weekend on Wednesday, December 3 with the first-ever Massive Nights installment of their intimate “Storytellers” show, a special seated performance that will see the band stripping down familiar songs along with additional classics not usually heard during regular sets. Entry for “Storytellers” will be limited, including a small number of standing-room tickets. Massive Nights 2025 will then see the Hold Steady performing two unique sets each night with no opening acts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, including a full album performance and second set stacked with fan favorites and more. Thursday, December 4 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hold Steady’s landmark second studio album, Separation Sunday, followed by surprise full album performances on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6.

General on-sales start Friday, August 1 at 10:00 am (ET). 4-night passes, 3-night passes (for Thursday, December 4-Saturday, December 6), Gold Circle VIP tickets, and single-night GA tickets are available during the regular presale as well as to members of Lanyards, the Hold Steady’s newly launched fan hub. As always, a number of add-ons are available, including the annual Pub Quiz (Thursday, December 4), Soundcheck/Happy Hour (Friday, December 5), and exclusive Massive Nights 10 merch bundle (featuring signed event poster, event tote bag, THS drink koozie, and THS sticker sheet). For complete details, please see theholdsteady.net.

10 years. Wow,” exclaims Craig Finn. “We started Massive Nights as a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Boys And Girls In America, and it has grown into the most wonderful time of the year for The Hold Steady community. We never could have anticipated the joy each December brings when everyone congregates at the Brooklyn Bowl. To be celebrating 10 years of Massive Nights as we see the 20 year Anniversary of BAGIA on the horizon is truly amazing.”

In the meantime, the Hold Steady will hit Los Angeles, CA for Constructive Summer 2025, a full weekend of shows slated for Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27 at the Teragram Ballroom before moving to the more intimate Moroccan Lounge on Sunday, September 28. The weekend event is almost entirely sold out, with an extremely limited number of tickets for all three nights – as well as a Happy Hour/Soundcheck add-on and PubQuiz Sunday Football watch add-on – still available.

The Hold Steady is also set for a number of upcoming festival appearances, including Seisiún Irish Music, Arts and Cultural Festival (September 6), Bourbon & Beyond (September 13), and Riot Fest (September 19).

This past weekend saw the band joining country star Tyler Childers as he kicked off his “On The Road 2025” tour with at East Troy, WI’s Alpine Valley Music Theater before a sold-out crowd of close to 30,000. “Craig Finn and company – including Janesville native Tad Kubler on lead guitar – quickly won over any unfamiliars with Finn’s jittery, hand-clapping theatrics and Kubler’s quickly contagious guitar heroics,” raved the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “A fair share of elder millennials (and older) were spotted singing along to ‘Constructive Summer,’ ‘Party Pit’ and ‘Sequestered in Memphis.’ Naturally, with the band on the bill, Childers is a fan; I saw that myself from the photo pit, with Childers sitting and watching from backstage, frequently beaming (in between some stretching exercises). ‘I always wanted to get to a Hold Steady show. Never did get to,’ Childers told the crowd during his set. ‘Every burned CD in high school I ever made for a gal had at least one Hold Steady song on it.’
