I am Onyx, and my story is one of rare challenges, incredible resilience, and a joyful transformation made possible by the support and hope I found at Parc's Discovery Learning Center.

Onyx is two and a half and living with FoxP1 Syndrome, an extremely rare genetic disorder with only about two hundred known cases worldwide. His first day of life included three frightening episodes where he stopped breathing, and his first year brought a growing list of medical questions without clear answers. By his first birthday, the diagnosis finally came, and his family suddenly found themselves navigating eight to ten therapy and specialist appointments every week, all while running two businesses and caring for their older child.

Champions of the Raise the Roof Campaign

As we near the finish line of our Raise the Roof Capital Campaign, we are inspired by those who have joined us in building a brighter future for children and families at Parc Center for Disabilities.

Paige Simpson shared,

“My husband and I chose to support the Raise the Roof campaign because we’ve seen firsthand how life-changing Parc’s services can be for children and their families. This new Children’s Services Center will open doors for so many who are still waiting for help.
