Greetings!
There's just one word for the incredible week we've just had: Holy Tamolly Mama! Yes, it's three words but there's no better way to describe the incredible three-quarter court 3-pointer shot at the half-time buzzer by Medomak Valley Panther Patrick McKenney. Take a look!

Fellow announcer Maia Zewert and I were so glad to share this get-to-your-feet-and-cheer moment LIVE with our Midcoast community and beyond, via live stream and broadcast. In fact, we had over 111 people watching the Jan. 25 Medomak Valley vs. Camden Hills game online simultaneously, including Patrick's Aunt Gwyn in Idaho. Plus over 3,000 people have viewed the clip.
But that was just the start of it. We also shared the fourth episode of Midcoast Matters with community partner Midcoast Conservancy, a Community Conversations with a candidate interview for the Maine Senate, and a new Talkin' Town Talk to introduce the Citizens Advisory Group with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. And plenty more basketball.
This week we have two new community shows. The first focuses on Workforce Challenges during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It's made possible by the CLC YMCA, and features Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett, Lincoln Academy Headmaster Jeff Burrows, LincolnHealth President Cindy Wade, and CLC YMCA CEO Casey Clark Kelley. The second is a new Community Conversations where host Marva Nesbit interviews another candidate for the Maine Senate 13 seat.
We're also excited to offer a Wednesday 5:30pm live stream of the Busline Cheerleading Championships from the Medomak Valley High School, with dozens of local middle school athletes. It's going to be a great show.
This is also the first week of High School Hoops where John Duke and I talk about the week's best shots, games, and players. Take a look.
One of our most important responsibilities is to ensure citizen access to municipal meetings. Scroll down to see new on-demand municipal meetings from Alna, Bristol, Damariscotta, Newcastle, and Waldoboro.
Producing and sharing these programs is our way of celebrating the people, place,s and events of Lincoln County. That's what we mean when we say Community Media for Our Community. We are so grateful to all of you who are helping keep us strong with fully tax-deductible contributions at LCTV.org/Support. Thank you so much.
This is the last full week of Medomak Valley and Lincoln Academy home basketball games. The game schedule is shifting by the moment due to weather, so please check our Facebook for each night's live streams and broadcasts. If you watch the live streams, please do us a huge favor and hit the LCTV YouTube "Subscribe" button. Stay tuned - you never know when there will be another " Holy Tamolly Mama" moment.
