The 2024 Parker Town Council Voting Record!

Alright, Parker Patriots, buckle up because we're headlong into a saga that's less local governance and more a Pace Center comedy show right here in Parker. I mean, if you thought the Parker Town Council was about representing the people, boy, have they got you fooled. And, you re-elected this bunch.

Let's discuss the 2024 numbers, shall we? Out of 156 items, with a staggering 848 votes cast, can you guess how many times our council voted "No"? Just twice. That's right, only twice. If you're not laughing, you're not paying attention. This isn't governance; it's a rubber-stamping Rivero parade where the only thing missing is the confetti.

Now, I know what you're thinking—this must be some kind of utopia where everyone agrees, regardless of the expenditure or new ordinance. But let's be real. This isn't unity; this is a circus where the clowns all vote the same way because they're afraid to rock the boat or, worse, they're just in it for themselves and the developers.

Josh Rivero – Coffee Café Owner Fika, Downtown Parker and Idyllwild

Ann Barrington – Barrington Real Estate Group, Downtown Parker

Brandi Wilks – Wilks Real Estate, Downtown Parker

What we see here isn't the result of deep, thoughtful deliberation; it's the sound of a council so out of touch they might as well be living on Mars. This kind of unanimity? It's not just suspicious; it's the political equivalent of finding a leprechaun at the end of your rainbow—it doesn't happen unless magic or, in this case, self-interest is at play.

The Town of Parker deserves better than this farce. It's time we root out these self-serving officials, those who've forgotten what it means to represent the bedrock conservative citizens of the Town of Parker. We need council members who aren't afraid to say "No" when "No" is warranted, not puppets nodding in unison with Josh Rivero.

Imagine if the town council was a box of chocolates - you'd at least get variety, some surprises, maybe even a few nuts. But what we have here is the same flavor every time, and it's starting to taste a lot like betrayal. This isn't about left or right; it's about having a council that actually debates, discusses, and decides based on the interests of the people, not just their own cozy little club.

So, as we head into the next election in 2026, remember this: We can't afford to let things slide in Parker. We need voices on the council who will speak up, not just stand by. We need leaders who remember they serve “We the People,” not themselves. Trust me, the only democracy we can afford is one in which our representatives actually represent us, not just their own interests.

Here are the statistics for the 2024 voting records through 12/16/2024 of the Parker Town Council:

Joshua Rivero

Total Votes: 0

Yes Votes: 0

No Votes: 0

Total Across All Town Council Members:

Total Votes: 848

Yes Votes: 846

No Votes: 2

The likelihood of obtaining 846 unanimous 'Yes' votes from 6 different council members, assuming each vote is independent, is astronomically low, effectively nearing zero*. This suggests that outcomes on votes are predetermined.

*Analyzed by a statistical resource (not opinion).

These voting records were taken directly from the minutes of the Town Council meetings in 2024. I excluded all instances of "call to order," "adjournment," “approval of minutes," and “agenda approval” from the count.

Douglas County GOP Officers Election

Monday, February 3, 2025

Get Prepared!

Alright folks, buckle up because we're diving into the deep waters of the DCGOP Officers election. Now, the Trans Republicans have been throwing around words like "Unity" and "Experience" as if it’s confetti at Parker Pride Fest. But let's cut through the fluff and get to the heart of the matter: who really has what it takes to lead the Douglas County GOP and uphold our conservative values and principles for everyone?

First off, let's discuss Time. If you've attended the DCGOP Central Committee meetings, you know the routine. Some candidates have attendance records that make Ferris Bueller look like a model citizen. We need officers who aren't just appearing after announcing their candidacy but are genuinely engaged with us. Those that have been actively involved at parades, candidate events, and, most importantly, knocking on doors for “GOTV”. This isn't about simply clocking in; it's about understanding the heartbeat of Douglas County GOP from the ground up.

Next up, Treasure. I'm not suggesting we should judge solely based on who has the deepest pockets, but let's be honest. If you're not putting your own money into the cause, how committed are you really? Donors for the GOP aren't just writing checks; they're demonstrating that they're invested in the success of the party and its candidates.

Now, let's discuss Talent. Sure, everyone has a talent, but without the time and resources to learn and understand it, it's like attempting to run a marathon in flip-flops. You need experience to develop that talent into something beneficial to run the DCGOP. It's not just about what you can show on paper; it's about what you've actually accomplished in the real world of DCGOP politics.

This election on February 3, 2025, isn't just another day at the office. It's a chance to weed out the Trans Republicans and ensure our county doesn't turn into their playground. We're looking for True Grassroots Conservative Republicans, those who aren't just talking the talk but have been walking the walk for the past year or longer.

So, do your homework. Look beyond the promises and the email campaign hyperbole. Check the candidate’s records, their past DCGOP commitments, and their actual GOP and candidate contributions to our cause, “Tracer”. We need leaders who've proven they can fight for MAGA values.

Remember, this isn't about unity with those who dilute our conservative values and principles; it's about unity in our mission to restore conservative governance in Douglas County and support the GOP 2024 platform. Make your choice wisely because experience isn't just a buzzword; it's the backbone of effective leadership.

Who or What is Chris Phelen?

Patriots, here we go again. The Douglas County GOP chairmanship will be getting a new face, but possibly not the fresh start we hoped for after Steve Peak’s leadership failures. Enter Chris Phelen, the man who thinks he can waltz into the role without even a nod to the local meetings or community efforts over the past year. Like not attending Douglas County GOP meetings, helping with DCGOP functions, not helping in the Douglas County GOTV. A true "come-lately" in the most unflattering sense.

Here's the scoop on Phelen: despite his grand declarations in his recent announcement about a united, red Douglas County, his track record tells a different story, or rather, it hardly tells one at all. Phelen hasn't shown his face (other than as a candidate for CD4) at a single DCGOP event/meeting in the past year (if he has, please let us know which meetings!). What kind of leader skips the very gatherings of the body he wants to shape? The kind that seems more interested in padding his resume than in actual service.

Now, onto what we are all asked to give to DCGOP, Time, Talent and Treasure. For his "talents." It appears Phelen's greatest skill lies in disparaging true conservative voices like Lauren Boebert, rather than contributing anything of substance. Just check out his cringe-worthy Instagram or this video:

Click Here to see the Video

So here are a few noteworthy places to watch:

0:10:40 – Introduction

0:17:00 – A statement solidifies Chris Phelen as an Establishment Republican

0:37:00 – Slams Loreen Boebert

0:55:45 – States Ken Buck did a decent job

1:18:00 – Want to keep the OPEN PRIMARY!

1:19:00 – Does not believe the 2020 election was stolen!

1:12:00 – Another slam at Loreen Boebert

1:24:00 – Would not support a National Abortion Ban!

So, he speaks about bringing harmony to the DCGOP. He must believe it’s okay to slam other Republicans; it’s this type of RINO harmony we keep hearing about in recent weeks. Then they get all bent out of shape when I do it; oh, the hypocrisy they show.

Oh, and let’s not forget the treasure, or lack thereof. He’s contributed in a quick Tracer lookup a paltry $25 to Douglas County compared to $320 to El Paso GOP (home of the GOP Coup) in the last year. It’s not hard to see where his loyalties lie…or don’t.

So, let me paint a picture of this DCGOP chairman candidate: Chris Phelen, the failed CD4 candidate who prefers to throw mud from the sidelines rather than fight in the trenches with DCGOP. This is not the MAGA champion we need, but rather another RINO ready to let MAGA values be dismissed in favor of "harmony" and open primaries. Harmony, it seems, is just a nicer word for compromising our values and principles.

Now, if we're serious about maintaining our DCGOP core values and principles and pushing back against the RINO tide, here are the people who genuinely deserve your vote and support:

  • Robin Web for Chair
  • Calvin Downs for 1st Vice Chair
  • Jeff Toborg for 2nd Vice Chair
  • Amanda Budimlya for Secretary
  • Pam Hampton for Treasurer

These are the individuals who stand with us, who have been in the arena, and who will ensure that Douglas County not only stays red but gets even redder.

So, come February 3, 2025, make the RIGHT choice. Support the true conservatives. Let's not gamble our party's future on a candidate who sees leadership as just another line on their LinkedIn profile rather than a commitment to fighting for our values and our people. Douglas County deserves better than Chris Phelen—way better.

In essence, choosing Chris Phelen as our DCGOP Chair would be like expecting the crocodile not to eat the frog Click Here to Read the Story

Ayn Rand

Unity, Unity, Unity!

It's the latest mantra from the RINOs and Establishment Republicans in Colorado and Douglas County, echoing through the halls like a desperate plea from the ghosts of political irrelevance. It's reminiscent of the child in Oliver Twist begging, "Please, sir, I want some more," except it's not gruel they're after, it's power, and boy, do they miss it.

Let's get one thing straight, these calls for unity are about as genuine as a three-dollar bill. The puppet masters of the sidelined GOP, the likes of Dick Wadhams, Phil Anschutz, and the Koch brothers, can't stand seeing real grassroots conservatives in charge. They think we're just waiting with bated breath for them to take the reins again. I hate to break it to you, but that's as likely as a snowball's chance in hell.

You see, these RINO wranglers don’t understand that unity in the GOP isn’t about personalities; it’s about values and principles, and it starts with the RNC 2024 platform. It's not about who is running the show but what the show stands for. And let me tell you, their version of the GOP is about as appealing as Surstromming (look it up).

How can you possibly unite with those who have tried to undermine our duly elected Colorado GOP officers? Oh, and let’s not forget the gems who cozy up to school union lobbyists and champion tax hikes, and walk with them to help our “R” candidates lose and increase taxes in Douglas County. Really sticking it to the conservative playbook, aren’t we?

Unity? More like surrender. They don’t want partnership, they want subservience. They don’t want a dialogue, they want a monologue where they're the only ones talking. Sorry, but that’s not how this is going to play out. Not today, not ever.

It's time they realized that this isn’t about old grudges or power plays. It's about adhering to the values and principles that make us conservatives, again, the 2024 RNC platform. It's about standing firm in our beliefs and not bending to the will of those who have already proven they can’t be trusted with the mantle of leadership (those who say they will go through the State Assembly and then have a change of plans). We're here to stay, and we're not just going to roll over and let the so-called “RINOs” or "establishment" reclaim territory that they've already proven they can't manage here in Colorado.

So, to all the RINOs and Establishment folks out there, here's a newsflash: It’s time to get on the real right side, the side of true grassroots conservatives. We're not going back to the days when you could pull the strings from behind the curtain. We're moving forward, with or without you. And if that means leaving you behind? Well, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

So you want to unite, you can start here and Douglas County pay special attention to 3, 6, 16.

The Stunning Colorado House Republican Vote!

In an unexpected turn of events that surprised exactly no one paying attention, the Colorado House Republicans have, for a change, seemed to align their votes with their supposed principles, or so it appears. In a significant vote, all GOP Colorado House Representatives cast their votes for the Republican nominee, Rose Pugliese, for Colorado House Chair. Unfortunately, despite their united front, Democrat Julie McCluskie won. This action might seem trivial to the uninformed observer, but let me remind you that just two years ago, we had many of these same so-called Republican conservatives voting for a Democrat chairperson. The excuses were as pathetic as they were unbelievable, ranging from "I didn’t realize how I was voting" to "It's tradition to vote for the party in power." Quite insulting, really, to anyone with a functioning brain. So, a half-hearted bravo for finally learning the basic duties of your office. On the bright side for me, I don’t need to ride Douglas County’s Anthony Hartsook anymore for his vote for a Democrat Colorado House Chair two years ago.

On the downside, only a handful of these elected officials showed real backbone when it came to voter integrity. Representatives Ken DeGraaf, Scott Bottoms, Brandi Bradley, Stephanie Luck, Ron Weinberg, and the fresh face Larry Don Suckla of Cortez stood their ground against certifying the election during the 2025 General Assembly's inaugural meet. Why? Because Secretary of State Jena Griswold thought it wise to release passwords to the voting machines, an act with questionable implications. Meanwhile, the rest of the Republican sheep thought this was just dandy. This should give you a clear picture of who actually stands for principles and who's just there to play footsie with the opposition.

And just when you think it couldn't get more ludicrous, enter HB25-1027, a gem of a bill set to tinker with school immunization rules, courtesy of our Democratic friends. Republican Colorado State Senator Lisa Frizell from Douglas County, who, along with Anthony Hartsook HD44, pocketed a neat $750 each from Pfizer (per Tracer). One might wonder whether their votes will sway in favor of parental rights or the depths of their donors and lobbyists.

While some of the Colorado House Republicans may have momentarily found their spines, don't bet your house on this newfound courage. It’s politics as usual in Colorado, grandstanding when convenient, folding when it counts. Stay tuned, though, because it’s always entertaining to watch which way the wind, and the money, blows in our beloved Colorado State Legislature.

Liberty Score Card 2024

The Colorado Liberty Republicans produce the annual Liberty Scorecard. This is a measure of how our state lawmakers vote according to Constitutional Principles: Individual Rights, Free Markets and Limited Government.

Here are the start of the 2025 session scores. Keep in mind that over the first couple of months, the scores will vary. Vote scores will have a greater meaning the more votes that are completed, so don't lose your mind in the early going if you see a "0" as the score.

The 2026 Colorado Governor Race Off and Running!

Who of the Republican candidates will wear the red cape and swoop in to save Colorado from its self-inflicted progressive experiment in 2026? The suspense is positively unbearable, I know. We’ve got a lineup of twelve contenders already (6 Republicans) and maybe soon to be thirteen if Griswold decides to hop on board with all her baggage. The Democrats, of course, could run a ten-year-old hunk of meatloaf, and their loyalists would gush at the chance to vote for it, no questions asked, no critical thought required. That’s the magic of the Democratic machine these days: it churns out thoroughly programmed lemmings who march dutifully off the cliff of fiscal irresponsibility, social pandering, and moral confusion.

Meanwhile, true conservatives are in search of that elusive Trumpian figure, someone with brazen confidence, a media-savvy swagger, and an unapologetic approach to calling out the nonsense. We need a candidate who won’t tiptoe around liberal sensitivities or bow to the mindless shrieks of the social justice crowd. Colorado Republican Establishment, beware: we’re on the hunt, and your days of cozying up to leftist policies while claiming to be “Republican” are coming to an end, we know who the “Trans Republicans” are! Colorado conservatives have grown tired of half-hearted politicians who think “tough talk” means politely clearing their throat before surrendering on every major issue.

Look around. Inflation is through the roof, with eggs at $10.50 a dozen (sometimes higher), and vanishing from shelves faster than the media can bury stories unfavorable to their chosen pollical party. Crime is up, especially with illegal alien gangs fighting for territory. Housing prices are obscene, and the cost of living has become a cruel joke to the citizens of Colorado. If something doesn’t change, Colorado will be bankrupt on every level, financially, morally, and spiritually.

Our next Republican superhero must be fearless. We’re not interested in lukewarm statements or nicely tailored suits that hide a spineless agenda. We want someone who can rally the Republicans, the independents, and even those Democrats who’ve finally awakened to the disastrous consequences of these so-called “progressive” policies. This candidate must stand unflinchingly for law and order, lower taxes, and the restoration of common sense.

So, let the liberals have their meatloaf candidate. We, on the other hand, will back a candidate who strides into the governor’s mansion with a firm handshake and a bold message. Colorado’s future demands it. The 2026 race has begun, and the question remains: which fearless conservative hero will emerge to save us from the clutches of leftist lunacy?

In Colorado, this is a very true statement:

the people who count the votes do."

President Trump's Inauguration Speach

Patriots, brace yourselves because what I'm about to say might just cause your conservative hearts to swell with pride or at least make you nod in satisfaction. My haters might even agree with this piece, lol.

Let's talk about Donald Trump's inaugural speech. Oh, what a glorious day that was for us—Liberation Day. Here we are, post-Joe Biden's catastrophe, in a time when every day feels like we've been living in an episode of "The Twilight Zone" but without the charm or the plot twist that saves us by the end.

Trump’s speech wasn’t just a speech; it was a predictive declaration, a sledgehammer of truth in this era of woke nonsense and economic suicide. He stood there not as a politician, but as a mirror held up to a nation that had been lost in the haze of liberal fantasies.

Remember when he said, "We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action, constantly complaining but never doing anything about it"? That line alone? It was like he was looking straight into the future, directly at Biden, who turned out to be the poster boy for all-talk-no-action. We've had four years of Biden's administration where the only action was the rapid decline of America's dignity and prosperity.

Trump spoke of a transfer of power back to the people, from the self-serving establishment to the citizens. Now, look around you. Hasn't Biden’s reign been the personification of the elite, out-of-touch bureaucrats dictating our lives from their ivory towers in D.C.? Trump's words were a stark warning, a blueprint for what not to do and what needs to be done.

He promised to rebuild our country with American hands and American labor. Instead, under Biden, we've seen jobs shipped overseas, our cities crumble, and our borders become a parody of national security.

The irony of Trump's speech being so 'spot on' is that it now serves as a brutal reminder of what we've lost. When revisited, each line from that speech is a sarcastic slap to the face of the Biden administration’s failures. The cherry on top was that the Biden crew had to sit there and hear all this live just a few feet away from Trump.

So, to my fellow conservative warriors in Douglas County and across Colorado, remember this: Trump's inaugural speech wasn't just rhetoric; it was a roadmap back to greatness. It was the truth spoken in a time of deceit. Let's make sure this speech isn't just a relic of better times but a call to action, a reminder of what we need to fight for. Because, let's face it, if we don't, we'll be stuck in a progressive nightmare forever.

"I will fight for you with every breath in my body

  • The REAL nature of politics and politicians and why just educating people alone won't result in the political change you want
  • Why small groups of dedicated activists can and do win
  • Why you will never be politically respected until you are politically feared and how to build a group that is feared by politicians on the wrong side of your issue
  • You'll learn the greatest lie ever told in politics and how the political class uses that lie and your convictions against you.
  • How to pick good political fights
  • How to put together a legislative project, get a bill sponsor, and force a roll call vote despite opposition from the leadership
  • How to hold politicians accountable for their actions (or lack of action)

In a nutshell, you will learn how to start winning in the world of politics.

Instead of being the victim of establishment politicians and bureaucratic schemes; Political Leadership School graduates who apply our tactics and strategies become their worst nightmare!

Are you ready?

If you are, register today, and be sure to bring other grassroots leaders and activists with you!

I am very excited to announce the full launch of

“We the People Network”!

www.wtpnetwork.net

Quality Grassroots Conservative News and Opinion:

Where you want it, when you want it.

What is "We The People Network" all about? This is where the Real Grassroots Conservative Patriots roast Libtards and RINO’s!

Hey there, freedom lovers and truth seekers! You've stumbled upon "We the People Network," the digital campfire around which the true grassroots conservatives of Parker, Douglas County, Colorado, and our great Nation gather to warm their hands to the flames of liberty.

Are you tired of the same old song and dance from the UniParty and establishment media, where the story never changes, and the tune is always "more of the same"? Well, pull up your folding chair because we're here to change that up with some good old-fashioned grassroots conservative passion!

Here at "We the People Network," we're not just conservative, we're grassroots conservatively “conservative.” We believe in calling out the Left and just as much the UniParty, Establishment Republicans, and those pesky RINO’s faster than you can say "taxation is theft."

What's on the menu, you ask? A hearty helping of news, opinion, and a side of sarcasm, all served fresh. We're serving up stories that the mainstream media wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole unless, of course, they could use it to prop up their narratives.

Our mission? To embolden you, the backbone of America, with the truth bombs that'll make you the most interesting person at any gathering or, more importantly, at the voting booth. We're here also to support those brave souls running for Republican office who actually remember what the Constitution looks like.

Think of us as your one-stop shop for:

  • News: The kind that doesn't make you feel like you're being sold swampland in Washington, DC.
  • Opinion: Rants with the sharpness of a skilled surgeon.
  • Activism: Because shouting at your TV only does so much.

Think of us like Turning Point’s rowdy older uncle, who shows up to the family reunion in his pick-up, 12 pack under his arm, a cigar, holding a megaphone. We're here to amplify the grassroots conservative voice, ensuring that "We the People" isn't just a catchy preamble but a living, breathing movement.

So, if you're ready to join the ranks of the informed, the irked, and the outright indignant, welcome aboard. Let's expose some Leftist Progressives, UniParty, Establishment Republicans, RINOs, and those new Trans-Republicans, and support our fellow patriots, and maybe, just maybe, save the republic one click at a time.

"Everybody has an opportunity in America. I don’t care if guys whine and complain about this or that. You know, no country affords its inhabitants the opportunities

that the U.S.A. gives to its people.”

Bobby Knight

So, a question you might have is, “Why Honey Badger”?

Honey Badgers have been described in the Guinness Book of Records as the "most fearless animal in the world" and can even fight off much larger predators like lions and hyenas if challenged. We know the political landscape is filled with hyenas, thus, we need the Honey Badger.

"You may think that I'm a confrontational jerk, and you may be right. But the confrontational jerk community serves an important purpose. No cultural battle can be won or has ever been won anywhere in the world without us.

You need us, whether you like it or not."

RINO Watch Colorado

Mission Statement

RINO Watch Colorado is the voice of grassroots Republicans, and the one-stop resource for news, editorials, websites and podcasts that cut through the Establishment and liberal spin.

We expose RINOs and support grassroots Patriots. We are a collective of grassroots activists.

A RINO is a Republican In Name Only.  Someone who claims to be Republican but whose actions show they have abandoned GOP principles.  RINOs often work in tandem with Democrats to destroy grassroots Republicans.
