The Establishment Strikes Back:
Colorado GOP Reorg Hands Power to the Same Clowns Who Tried to Burn It Down
Well, congratulations, Colorado GOP. You did it. You took two solid years of grassroots momentum, principled conservatism, and actual leadership under Dave Williams… and you flushed it down the toilet.
Yes, in a stunning act of tone-deaf political theater, the State Central Committee handed control of the state party to Brita Horn and her merry band of Establishment fossils, Darrel Phelan and Russ Andrews. This is the same RINO clique that orchestrated the failed coup against Dave Williams in the first place. Bravo. The swamp wasn’t drained; they just added more slimy creatures to the mix.
Let’s be crystal clear: this isn’t just a “new chapter” or “fresh start.” This was a hostile takeover, with a vote of Horn – 232, Saine – 203, a mere 29 vote difference. This is not a mandate by any stretch of the imagination that the Horninistas may think they have. The people now in charge represent everything the grassroots base fought against, the consultants, corrupt big-money donors, the backroom deals, the limp-wristed messaging, and the unrelenting cowardice in the face of leftist insanity. These are the same people who lose elections and then tell us to unify.
Unify with what, exactly? With the people who smeared Dave Williams, tried to oust him in an unlawful coup, and spat in the face of every grassroots conservative who dared to stand with Dave and for actual Republican values? Not a chance.
For me, I will show the new leadership and their surrogates the same level of grace and respect they showed Dave Williams and his supporters: precisely none. No honeymoon period. No benefit of the doubt. You wanted the throne? You will also own the disaster that comes next.
And let’s not kid ourselves: without aggressive, fearless leadership, we will spiral into irrelevance by 2026. That’s not doomsday talk; it’s a historical fact with left-leaning soft Republicans. The grassroots revolution was working. We were building real momentum. But now the inmates are back in charge of the asylum. If you think Brita has the strategies to lead the party in Colorado, think again. Pulling her puppet strings will be KBB and Heidi Ganahl.
But, here’s the silver lining: true grassroots conservatives aren’t going anywhere. We built this movement without their permission or respect, and we’ll keep building it in spite of this setback. The war for the soul of the Colorado GOP is far from over, it just entered a new phase.
Each month, I will be updating the following Colorado GOP KPI's:
Registered Republicans as of 3/1/2025 - 942,766
Registered Democrats as of 3/1/2025 - 1,043,259
Registered Unaffiliated as of 3/1/2025 - 1,978,510
Report of Contributions and Expenditures as of 10/24/2024 - 12/5/2024
Funds on Hand at the beginning of the reporting period - $9,261.53
Contributions during the reporting period - $12,314.50
Expenditures during the reporting period - $0.00
Total at the End of the Period - $21,576.03
The next SOS report is April 10, 2025

Unity™: Now Brought to You by Backstabbing Flyers
Ah yes, unity. That recent sacred cow of politics is making its way through the DCGOP. The holy word is tossed around like confetti at a parade by individuals who wouldn’t recognize unity if it hit them in the face, preferably with their own campaign flyer.
At the recent CD4 elections, something magical happened. One of Douglas County GOP’s own District Captains, freshly minted and proudly hoisting the "Unifier-in-Chief" banner, was distributing hit pieces. Not just any flyer, mind you. This one targeted one of Douglas County’s own: a former DCGOP 2nd Vice Chair. You know, the kind of internal sabotage that totally screams team spirit and UNITY.
Now I know what you’re thinking: surely, this must be some kind of mistake! Perhaps a rogue flyer leapt out of a car and into the delegates’ hands? Maybe a gust of wind blew it from their clipboard of unity into circulation. After all, how could someone demand that we all come together while simultaneously lobbing grenades at fellow Republicans?
But no, this was no accident. This was strategic, deliberate, and entirely on-brand for the Horninista crowd, those fine folks who claim the moral high ground while digging trenches behind enemy lines (also known as Douglas County). They chant “unity” in public, then gleefully plunge knives into the backs of anyone who dares challenge their control, again UNITY.
Let’s be clear: unity without integrity is a scam. It’s a power play dressed up as virtue. And what happened at CD4 wasn’t unity, it was a textbook case of gaslighting. It was an “all hands on deck” moment... unless your hands are building anything that threatens their little club.
So next time you hear them talk about unity, remember what that actually means in Horninista-speak: shut up, sit down, and don’t get in the way of their agenda.
Because, apparently, nothing conveys “Republican values” quite like a flyer you were too embarrassed to sign your name to. Say what you want about me, no matter what I write, I put my name to it, unlike others.

Propping Up Failure:
How Douglas County’s School Board Uses Charter Schools to
Hide Low Test Scores
Let’s talk about the dirty little secret the Douglas County School Board hopes you never notice. It’s the academic version of Photoshop: slap a few Charter School results on a failing report card, and voilà, suddenly, the district doesn’t look like it is a failing intercity school district. But here’s the problem: when you peel back the charter school data, what’s left underneath is nothing short of a train wreck.
The DCSD loves to showcase the success of schools like Parker Core Knowledge (2024 English: 87.6%, Math: 80.7%) and STEM Highlands Ranch (2024 English: 64.2%, Math: 55.8%). These charter schools are raising the average like a weightlifter attempting to lift a sumo wrestler. But don’t be deceived; these numbers do not truly reflect the district’s success; they’re a facade for its failure.
Click Here to See the Data Table
Strip away the charter schools and what do you get? In 2024, non-charter elementary schools averaged 56.5% in English and an abysmal 45.8% in Math. Middle schools? Even worse, English scores limp in at 53.5%, with Math trailing at a pitiful 37.7%. That’s not “room for improvement.” That’s educational malpractice.
And yet, here’s the real kicker: the very board members who use charter schools to make the district look good are the same ones dragging their feet when it comes to expanding them. Why? Because control matters more to them than kids. They’d rather let the system rot like Denver Public Schools than admit that maybe, just maybe, parents know what’s best for their children.
If we judged the district solely on its regular schools, this wouldn’t be a “high-performing district.” It would be a cautionary tale. The data is clear, the hypocrisy is louder, and the time to call it out is now. The board’s love-hate relationship with charter schools and those pesky parents needs to end, because our kids deserve better than a cover-up.
That is why I’m calling to replace all 4 DCSD Board Members up for reelection this November.

Douglas County School District’s Silent Treatment:
Hiding Something or Just Rude?
Well, folks, it’s a banner day in Douglas County, Colorado, where your tax dollars apparently buy you nothing but a cold shoulder from the esteemed Douglas County School District (DCSD). A local citizen, Y’know, one of those pesky taxpayers who keep the lights on, dared to ask Superintendent Erin Kane a couple of simple questions about the Healthy Kids Survey. On March 24, they fired off an email: Will DCSD run this thing in the spring? Will it ask kids about their “gender identity”? Straightforward, yes-or-no stuff. Crickets. So, on March 27, they followed up, probably thinking, “Maybe they’re just busy.” Still, nada. Zero. Zilch.
What’s the deal, DCSD? Are you too arrogant to respond to the little people, or is there something in this survey you’d prefer to keep under wraps? Maybe it’s filled with more woke nonsense than a Berkeley sociology class, the kind you insist isn't in the schools (wink-wink) and you’re hoping we won’t notice. This isn’t just some random person begging for a free pencil; it’s a taxpaying resident inquiring about a program that could be imposed on our kids. Ignoring them isn’t merely rude; it’s a big, sarcastic “screw you” to every parent and voter in this county.
Transparency should be your responsibility, not a game of hide-and-seek. So, Superintendent Kane, how about you stop treating inquiries like junk mail and start answering the damn questions?

Good afternoon Superintendent Kane,
Hope you're well. I'm following up in regard to the Healthy Kids Survey.
Will DCSD be conducting the Healthy Kids Survey this Spring? If so, will the Healthy Kids Survey demographic questions include questions about gender identity?
Thanks in advance for your assistance with this; appreciated.
Respectfully,

Hartsook and Frizell:
The Liberty Score Losers We Can’t Afford to Keep
Well, folks, it’s official: Colorado’s grassroots conservatives are stuck with two of the most pathetic excuses for Republican leadership this side of the Rockies. House Rep Anthony Hartsook and Senator Lisa Frizell have somehow managed to stumble their way into Liberty Scores so abysmal they’d make an elementary school teacher blush, 68 for Hartsook and a pitiful 64 for Frizell. These numbers aren’t just bad; they’re a flashing neon sign screaming, “We don’t care about conservative Republican values!” Seriously, how do you even get scores this low without actively trying to tank them? Did they mix up the buttons, were they napping through the votes on individual rights, free markets, and limited government, or were they just too busy with their hands out to the lobbyists?
Let’s get real: these two are supposed to represent the beating heart of conservatism in Douglas County and serve as examples for our state. Instead, they’re dishing out a lukewarm sludge of compromise that would make the new RINO Colorado GOP Officers proud. The Liberty Scorecard, for those who don’t know, isn’t some fluffy participation trophy; it’s a brutal tally of how well our so-called leaders defend the principles we genuinely care about. Hartsook and Frizell? They’re not just failing; they’re scraping the bottom like a couple of kids who forgot their lines in the school play.
And don’t give me that: “They’re good people,” “They mean well,” “They’re doing their best.” Spare me. We didn’t send them to Denver to play nice or get invited to the right cocktail parties. We sent them there to fight. And what have we gotten? Tepid, go-along-to-get-along mediocrity wrapped in a red ribbon and sold as Republican leadership. “They’re trying their best” nonsense. If this is their best, we’re in deeper trouble than a vegan at a barbecue.
Hartsook is up again in 2026, and Frizell in 2028, dates that feel far off until you realize these clowns could use this time to further erode what’s left of our Colorado conservative backbone. It’s time to sharpen the pitchforks, folks. We need battle plans to send these two packing unless they slink onto the ballot via petition like the spineless wonders they are.
So, Douglas County, let’s stop electing candidates who believe 68 and 64 are “close enough” for conservative principles. Hartsook and Frizell aren’t just disappointments; they’re walking betrayals of everything true conservatives represent.

Colorado’s Gubernatorial Showdown 2026
Alright, folks, the past 30 days of the Colorado gubernatorial race have been...well... something. The Republicans are looking solid, while the Democrats seem hell-bent on recycling their own. Let’s face it, as it stands now, the Dems could run a piece of meatloaf, and it might win in this state.
On the GOP side, Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell entered the race, as reported by Denver7 on March 13. He promotes a no-frills approach, focusing on practical solutions that don’t involve coddling everyone. State Rep. Scott Bottoms and Sen. Mark Baisley have been involved since February, with Bottoms reinforcing his positions in a March Colorado Sun article. These 2 candidates aren’t flashy, but they’re consistent, and that deserves recognition.
Then there are the Democrats. Attorney General Phil Weiser has been running since January, emphasizing “progress” as if it’s a magic term that will solve everything. CPR noted on February 28 that Sen. Michael Bennet is “seriously considering” a bid. Great, another guy who can’t make up his mind. Weiser is lost in progressive ideals, while Bennet has been occupying a D.C. seat for ages. It’s hard to imagine either connecting with anyone outside of a Denver/Boulder mostly peaceful protest. In the midst of all this, a recent poll showed Representative Joe Neguse leading among Democratic hopefuls with 20% support.
The last month shows the GOP maintaining a steady position for the 2026 election. For Colorado’s conservatives, it is a chance to observe the Republicans candidates building momentum for 2026. The Democrats? They’re still figuring out how to promote their tax-and-spend takeover of TABOR.
In Colorado, this is a very true statement:
"The people who cast the votes don't decide an election,
the people who count the votes do."

Colorado Is Blue,
But Are We Just Feeling the Altitude Sickness?
Let’s rip off the Band-Aid: Colorado is a deep blue disaster zone, and every election seems to confirm that fact with painful consistency. Once a proud bastion of rugged individualism and conservative values, we have become the Mile High Marxist Outpost. The question conservatives in this state must ask themselves, while dodging the next tax hike or watching kids get indoctrinated in schools, is this: “Is Colorado too far gone, or is there still a pulse under all this progressive rot?”
On Saturday, March 29, the Colorado GOP elected their new leadership team. And by “new,” I mean just old tired establishment hacks or maybe just say it like it is, RINOs. The kind of “Republicans” who will lead the Colorado GOP just like KBB did for 2 years. You know the type, they still think winning means going along to get along and accept what ever scraps the Dems give us.
Let’s be brutally honest: conservatives in Colorado are not losing because of superior Democrat ideas. We’re losing because we allow subpar candidates on the ballots. Instead of fighting for parents, the unborn, small business owners, and law-abiding citizens, we elect state officials (some, NOT all) who are left-of-center Republicans who mostly believe they must play nice with the very people who are burning the house down. You know that age-old phrase, “We must reach across the aisle.” We’re talking about a state that banned gas-powered lawnmowers before it figured out how to fix I-25. Progress!
But is it hopeless? Maybe not.
Look at Douglas County. Yes, progressive lunacy is seeping in, but here, we still have a conservative backbone, except in HD 43, and all of Highlands Ranch is fading blue fast. If we could just convince the DCSD not to run any bond initiatives, maybe we could keep the Denver School Teachers Union crew from walking in HD 43 and other places in our county. We still have active grassroots groups (like this one!) fighting tooth and nail for every inch of common sense left in the public square. The fire is still burning, dimly, yes, but it’s there.
The truth is, Colorado won’t be saved from the top down. The GOP elite (Coup Crowd) have shown us who they are, and it’s not going to change. If Colorado is going to shift red, it’ll be because of real, true grassroot conservatives, the ones who run for school board meetings, city council, and House and Senate districts, along with the all-important task of knocking on doors during elections. We must refuse to hand this beautiful state over to the lunatics without a fight.
So, is Colorado too far gone? Maybe. But if we’re going down, let’s at least go down swinging.

Trump’s Tremendous Triumphs: A March Mastery Class
Well, folks, strap in and slap on some shades, because Donald J. Trump’s last 30 days as our 47th President have been a dazzling, conservative supernova. Colorado’s true grassroots warriors deserve the rundown on this March 2025 masterclass. The man’s been winning so hard, the libs need therapy dogs just to cope. Let’s slice it up:
Dismantling Education: Who Needs Pointy-Headed Elites Anyway?
Trump swung his executive-order pen like a battle axe, gutting the Department of Education faster than you can say “common core.” Local control’s back, baby. No more D.C. eggheads deciding what little Timmy learns in Douglas County. It’s chaos, sure, but it’s our chaos, and that’s the American way. Douglas County’s own commissioners, on March 25, are nodding along with their Home-Rule push.
Tariff Tantrums: Trade Wars Are the Best Wars
“Liberation Day” is coming April 2, per Trump’s tariff tease. Foreign goods? Overrated. American workers? Priceless. Sure, your grocery bill might go up a little in the short-term, but that’s just the sweet pain of patriotism and buying American.
Rewriting History: A Nostalgic Nod to Simpler Times
In an effort to restore "truth and sanity" to American history, President Trump has taken it upon himself to revitalize cultural institutions and purge divisive ideologies. Because nothing says "freedom" like a government-mandated version of history that conveniently aligns with a singular perspective.
Deregulation Domination: Unleashing the Big Dogs
Trump’s slashing regs like the slasher Freddy Kruger, banks, crypto, energy, you name it. Environmentalists are sobbing, but investors? They’re popping champagne. Colorado’s energy boys will soon be all chanting, "drill baby drill."
Election Overhaul: Democracy, But Make It Exclusive
AP News on March 22 detailed Trump’s voter crackdown, citizenship proof, Election Day deadlines. Critics whine about “disenfranchisement,” but we call it “standards.” Voting’s not a participation trophy for snowflakes, and illegals.
Closing the Border: Crushing the Alien Invasion with Unmatched Vigor
In a masterstroke of border security brilliance, President Donald J. Trump has orchestrated a symphony of policies that have sent illegal crossings plummeting to historic lows. By deploying troops to the southern frontier, reinstating the "Remain in Mexico" policy, and fast-tracking the construction of the border wall, the administration has effectively transformed the once-porous border into an impenetrable fortress. The numbers speak volumes: a staggering 94% reduction in illegal crossings compared to the previous year. Clearly, the mere thought of facing actual consequences has deterred would-be border violators. Additionally, the administration's unwavering commitment to deporting violent criminals has ensured that murderers, child molesters, and drug dealers are promptly returned to their countries of origin, much to the chagrin of the criminal underworld. It's almost as if enforcing the law works, who would've thought?
The Wrap-Up: Trump’s March Madness
Thirty days of unadulterated Trumpian triumph. We are witnessing a golden age. The left’s melting down, and we’re just getting started. Cheers to that, patriots!

Parker Conservatives Meeting.

A note on Deep Space
Are you planning a conservative event and in search of the perfect venue? Deep Space in Parker could be an excellent fit for you if you expect at least 80 attendees and plan on ordering food and beverages. While there is a minimum spend requirement, this should easily be met with a guest list of 80-100 people. If you're interested, please contact me, and I'll connect you with the owners of Deep Space to discuss further details.
Please note that Parker Conservative meetings are PRIVATE
and for Conservatives ONLY!
Media outlets and any type of journalist are NOT INVITED
and will be turned away.
Parker Conservative meetings are held in a
private meeting space that is not open to the public.
