Greetings!
Our team recently finished building an updated and more efficient facility to provide life-changing programs to the Santa Barbara community.
The facility further strengthens Hearts’ ability to support numerous special needs communities in Santa Barbara. With completing this project, our therapeutic programs continue to positively impact many individuals’ physical and mental health.
The new facility also enables Hearts to expand programming because it has two functioning arenas. The configuration for the new facility allows for multiple programs to operate simultaneously, which was not possible at the previous location. We aim to grow all programs, with a particular focus on equine-facilitated learning and psychotherapy.
As we continue to grow and expand our services, community support is critical. Program income makes up less than one-third of our overall expenses – we rely on grants, event income, and donations from individuals and organizations for the remainder.
