The Hoofbeat: September 2021
The Move is Finally Here!
Hello, and Happy Fall!

September 22nd marked the Autumn Equinox, and with that, the transition into a period of transformation. In many ways, fall represents the end of things: summer is over, and days become shorter. But it can also signal new beginnings

At Hearts, we are just completing one of our most significant transformations, and the timing with Autumn Equinox could not be more perfect. With that, we are thrilled to announce that Hearts has finished building its new facility and will begin operations there in early October!

Hearts' new facility is located on a property adjacent to the current one. We will even maintain the same entrance road. We are so excited to share the new facility with you all very soon. Until then, here are a few "sneak peek" photos.

At this time, the horses have been moved to the new site and are settling in comfortably. Staff and volunteers are working together to put the finishing touches on the site. We aim to resume lessons on Tuesday, October 12th.

We will also be sharing lots of fun photos and videos of the move over the next several weeks, so make sure to follow us on social media! Be sure to check out the October Hoofbeat newsletter for a full update on the move, more photos, and an update on our FIRST lessons at the new site. We can't wait!

If you have questions about the capital campaign and how to donate, don't hesitate to contact Morgan Kastenek at Morgan@heartsriding.org or (805) 364-5201.

Thank you all for your continued support of our mission. Without you, this move would not be possible, and we would not be able to help so many people in need. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete this enormous project (probably the biggest we will EVER encounter!).

We look forward to getting everyone back in the saddle this fall!
