One Welcome Change...More To Come!
Beginning this weekend, we’ll be handing out paper bulletins as you enter the church for Sunday worship services, with the order of service and hymns printed out. Those preparing and distributing the bulletins will be wearing masks and gloves. The order of service will still be available on the church website for home printing.
Looking down the road, state requirements for social distancing may soon be changing, if recent COVID-19 statistics in North Carolina remain stable. While we need to still be mindful of the need to protect one another’s health and safety, we are making preliminary plans to drop social distancing requirements for seating in worship services and other activities here at the church. We’ll do our best to take a reasonable approach, and will count on everyone’s cooperation and understanding. But we’re looking forward to these changes, along with other steps toward “normalization.” We’ll be announcing these changes once final decisions are made at the state level.
God has blessed our congregation through these past thirteen months in many ways. Continue to pray for your church, through all of the changes that lie ahead for us!
