Vol. 4, Issue 6 | February 2021
Message from the Superintendent
Dear HUSD Community,

For the first time ever in our district, our schools will celebrate Presidents’ Week. That’s right, an entire week off of school to disconnect from Zoom! I know how challenging distance learning is for our entire community, so I hope this break allows you to find time for activities that bring you joy. Please remember to continue to follow public health recommendations. Wearing a mask and maintaining social distance will help keep you and your family safe.

As you’ll see in this month’s newsletter, there is no shortage of amazing things being accomplished by our students and staff. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our community partners who have continued to step up and provide support to our students and families during distance learning. This shows us how much we truly are part of a community that cares.

Have a safe week off.

Sincerely,
Matt Wayne, Ed.D.
Superintendent
