Pensacola State College Charter Academy earns second consecutive "A" grade

The Pensacola State College Charter Academy was one of two high schools in the Escambia County School District to earn an “A” grade for the 2024–25 academic year, according to the Florida Department of Education. This marks the second year in a row the PSC Charter Academy has received the top rating.

With unwavering determination, months of dedicated practice, and a passion for public speaking, these students have shown they are a force to be reckoned with—and their journey is just beginning.

Prom 2025: Lanterns in the Sky at The Pensacola State College Charter Academy 

The Pensacola State College Charter Academy celebrated a monumental milestone with its first-ever prom, "Prom 2025: Lanterns in the Sky." The event, held at the Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio, was a resounding success thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) prom committee. 

This month, we are thrilled to spotlight Reese Goff, who has secured a job as a Kennel Technician through her capstone project. From a young age, Reese's love for animals was evident, as she spent her time outdoors looking for lizards and frogs and indoors playing with her own dogs. She also discovered a passion for agriculture in eighth grade when she joined an agriculture class and participated in FFA (Future Farmers of America) competitions and events.

It is hard to believe that we have completed our third year at the Charter Academy. It was an incredible year, and we were able to celebrate quite a few firsts. From adding freshman and sophomore classes to the Charter Academy, starting a vibrant PTSA, holding our first prom, to publishing our first official yearbook, we continue to grow in exponential ways.


I would like to extend my congratulations to the forty-three high school seniors graduating this year. Thirty-one of those students also earned their AA degrees. We look forward to the beginning of school in August and wish you a safe, restful summer break.
