LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Chamber Weighs in on Proposed Legislation
Stemming from substantive discussion from its Legislative Affairs Committee, the Howard County Chamber recently submitted written testimony stating its opposition to CB 32 and CB 33 . These two bills, if passed would require the Director of Planning & Zoning or their designee to testify at Planning Board meetings under oath and modify the definition of standing thereby changing who may appeal Planning Board decisions.
