Last year, The Cape Cod Foundation distributed over $3.4 million back into the community.  That's due, in part, to our hardworking fundholders who stage events throughout the year to raise money for local nonprofit organizations. Here are four very fun fundraisers that support student athletes, underprivileged children, women seeking professional development and many other great causes.  So, if you can, take a little time off to do a little good.

D-Y DOLPHIN DASH 5K ROAD RACE/WALK
Get into the race! Proceeds benefit student athletes at D-Y High School. Each year, about 400 students must pay a $100 participation fee to compete on the school's athletic teams. Last year's run covered the full cost for participating students. Any additional funds raised will help offset other departmental needs, such as equipment or transportation costs. The D-Y Dolphin Dash Fund is one of The Cape Cod Foundation's newest funds.

CCWA ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE & EXPO
Get connected and be inspired at this interactive and social celebration. The Cape Cod Women's Association brings women in business and those in transition together to build personal and professional relationships through networking, education and personal development.  Mix and mingle, visit CCWA vendor tables and get a chance to win prizes from local businesses.  Appetizers, desserts and a cash bar.  Admission $10/guests.  All guest registration fees benefit the CCWA Scholarship Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation which supports adult women who are pursuing higher education, training in a new professional, or taking courses to develop their professional lives on Cape Cod.
