Hyer Families,
Can you believe October has ended and we are just a few weeks away from Thanksgiving Break? This school year is flying by and before we know it, the first semester of the school year will be complete. This cooler weather is a welcome change from the warm days that lingered this year; it's finally beginning to feel like fall. I hope you and your family enjoyed the long weekend!
Last week was busy with Red Ribbon Week and Halloween. Our 3rd graders made some of the very best storybook pumpkins, and our littlest huskies in Preschool and Kindergarten paraded around the school for us, Friday. This past week, we also several high school athletes at arrival or dismissal promoting their upcoming activities.
The next few weeks will be busy as well. Our huskies are excited to participate in some special activities including Dads & Sons donuts, the 2nd grade performance, and our third Turkey Trot. Our 1st and 3rd graders will take the CogAT test November 9-11th. More information will be shared on this assessment next week. The week will culminate with the Hyer Auction - hope to see you there!
Have a wonderful week and thank you for your continued involvement in our school!
Warmly,
Debbie
