October 20, 2025 / Robert S. Hyer Elementary School

Dear Hyer Families,

The time for Parent-Teacher Conferences has arrived. I know that many of you have already met with your child's teacher, and others have those appointments scheduled for the coming days. Conferences are one of the most valuable opportunities teachers have to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their strengths, and collaboratively set goals for the remainder of the school year. Thank you for signing up for a time to meet with our teachers; your input is truly valued.

As the weather cools, we see more jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts in the lost and found. Please put your child's name on these items to they can be returned to him/her when found. Don't forget to label water bottles and lunch boxes as well.

Have the most amazing week!

Warmly,

Debbie

❤️ WE CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER IN HYER! ❤️

Hyer Cares is a resource available to all Hyer families who need extra support. Whether the need is financial aid, a “sunshine box” for a family experiencing a hard time, a support system for new families, or kids feeling disconnected, or a meal delivered to your doorstep… Hyer Cares is here for you and your family.

Our promise to you is confidentiality, unless you prefer otherwise. We are a neighborhood school with a big heart… and we hope everyone feels our love and support.

Please email Kyle Yohe or Ellen Kershaw if any of these resources might be a blessing to your family or a family you know at Hyer.
